In this episode, I explore the vast majority of time, focused on Earth, how little we actually know about it, and how little all of that actually matters to our perspective of upright walking primates.
The universe began, somehow, at some point, and that was pretty cool.
Stars formed, yadda yadda yadda.
Our solar system formed, Jupiter is our best friend, and we happen to live on the third rock.
Volcanoes and meteors, oh my. Earth sucked for 4 billion years or so, then some bacteria started to grow extra cells, and everyone who got on the bandwagon became a giant bug for a while.
Some bug grew a spine. That dude's kids became fish, their kids became amphibians, and some of them crawled onto land.
Then almost everybody died, for some reason.
Next it became trendy to be Dinosaurs, and that lasted for like 200 million years. There were two massive extinctions in here, I'm sure it was all very sad, but we don't really know anything about it.
Then there was a mass extinction that Really changed things, known as the meteor that killed the dinosaurs off. Pretty metal.
That pretty much sums up what I cover in this episode!
Thanks for listening!
