In today's episode, Carli joins us to talk about her conversion to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as the Mormon Church).
Carli has lived all over the USA but claims New York as her hometown. Because Carli had a somewhat unstable childhood, she learned to take care of herself at a very early age. She'd be independent and eventually began using drugs and alcohol to keep her going.
After a series of difficult events, Carli noticed a man at work who was very happy and family oriented. She wanted what she had. When she heard that he was a member of the LDS Church, she knew she wanted some part of the Church. Little did she now that she had more difficult trials around the corner and quickly learned how much she needed the gospel of Jesus Christ in her life.
