Licensed Town Guides Brad Gottfried and Rosanne Zajko come in to talk about the difficult decision Gettysburg civilians were faced with: to stay or go. Staying could mean some force of abuse, property damage or worse. Going could mean leaving your home and returning to find nothing there. In some cases, whole families fled. In others, just the men fled with the family's valuables, but that wasn't as heartless as it may sound by our modern standards.
