A reformed extragalactic astrophysicist; professionally, Leon fights climate change by planning the restoration and addition of habitats to landscapes through the magic of coding, statistics, hydrology, and never enough coffee.

He also volunteers for MapAction, a humanitarian disaster relief information management and mapping charity.

He occasionally picks up sticks to play marimba and various orchestral percussions, though is a big fan of noodling around on bass guitar.

Other times he is an aficionado of musical theatre, a big fan of general geekery, and fair-weather friend of the Duolingo owl.
