The police have arrested a driver in charge of a DAF truck with registration number AS 7324- 12. The suspect driver, Kofi Nkansah, was arrested Sunday, June 12, 2022, at Ejisu after he was captured in a video, driving without his back tyres.

Two journalists have escaped death after the Asafoakye of Kokrobite was shot dead in a gun battle between two factions. Two others, including a 15-year-old boy, sustained injuries during a ritual performance to lift the ban on noise making.

A radio presenter with Tamale-based Neesim FM, Alhaasan Suale, has been shot dead in an alleged robbery attack at Kalariga, a suburb of Tamale in the Northern Region. The deceased radio presenter is said to have been hit by a stray bullet during a robbing incident involving a mobile money vendor.

The former president of the National House of Chiefs Togbe Afede has rejected an amount of over 365,000 Ghana cedis paid into his account as exgratia for work done during his tenure. His reason for refunding the said amount is that he was paid salaries and also he enjoyed other allowances and stuffs hence he doesn't see the need to accept the payment.

Thunder has struck and killed a 17-year-old male student of the Sokode Senior High School in the Volta Region. The incident which happened near the regional capital, Ho, during heavy rain in the late hours of Monday, killed the victim who has been identified as Emmanuel Dorli.
