A radio presenter with Tamale-based Neesim FM, Alhaasan Suale, has been shot dead in an alleged robbery attack at Kalariga, a suburb of Tamale in the Northern Region. The deceased radio presenter is said to have been hit by a stray bullet during a robbing incident involving a mobile money vendor.

The former president of the National House of Chiefs Togbe Afede has rejected an amount of over 365,000 Ghana cedis paid into his account as exgratia for work done during his tenure. His reason for refunding the said amount is that he was paid salaries and also he enjoyed other allowances and stuffs hence he doesn't see the need to accept the payment.

The British High Commissioner has reacted to Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Dr Akuffo Dampare’s response to her tweet about the arrest of FixTheCountry’s Oliver Barker-Vormawor. Speaking in an interview on GHone on Tuesday, Madam Harriet Thompson stated that she did not expect a response from the IGP at all.

Thunder has struck and killed a 17-year-old male student of the Sokode Senior High School in the Volta Region. The incident which happened near the regional capital, Ho, during heavy rain in the late hours of Monday, killed the victim who has been identified as Emmanuel Dorli.
