Episode 10: Many of our youth are struggling through the pandemic and we adults are struggling with how to recognize the virtual warning signs that they need help. Jen shares the importance of listening for burdensome, helpless and hopeless language as well as understanding the concept of social contagion and how young people are easily impacted by their social circles. Since their social circles are experiencing a "collective grief" due to the pandemic, there are many contaminants of negativity around them. Listen in as the Jens discuss ways to introduce hope, empowerment and purpose by filling the "social well" with competing contaminants through the use of youth oriented infographics.
