In the wilderness, Israel complained about bitter water.  Moses's response reminds us that no situation is beyond the transformative power of God.  

An axe head floating in water reminds us that God's power is greater than any trial we face in life.  The Old Testament prophet Elisha acts in faith and shows his generation and ours what to do when life loses its edge.  

In Psalm 51, "then" is a spiritual location that should be the goal of every believer.  Because of sin, David had taken a detour from his destiny, but through confession and repentance reached his destination.

Lot's actions in Genesis, Chapter 19 is a warning to us of the dangers of dwelling on the past but a primer on what we must do in order to move forward and fulfill the purposes of God for our lives.  

Mark and the other Gospel writers are consistent in affirming that a new start in the  history of the world is actualized by the birth of God's son in a stable in Bethlehem.  In life, God offers us fresh starts and new beginnings.  

The real message of Easter is how God in the person of Jesus Christ came to this planet, became poor, that we might become rich in Him.   He literally stooped so we an stand.  

Crowds gathered to see and hear Jesus.  A crippled man carried by four friends came too but their path was blocked.  Determined, they found a way to push through the traffic and bring their friend to Jesus.  Because of their faith, their friend was healed.  

The story of the father with the epileptic son is recorded in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke.  It reminds us that we are not strong all the time but even when we struggle, little faith can produce great blessing. 

Mephibosheth lived with a tragic deformity.  He was crippled!  Yet because of grace, he found himself seated at the King's table.
