Many of us become so comfortable and satisfied with our present situation that we literally, cannot stand to be blessed.  In the Old Testament, Hannah seized on God's promises and power with a holy discontent that energized her desire for a blessing.  

Pummeled by crisis, catastrophe and calamity, Job declared to his generation and ours that help is on the way!  

King David moved beyond his disappointments in life by letting go and letting God.  

Faced with the potential loss of his kingdom and his life, David celebrates God's faithfulness.
