Hey everyone, it's Pastor Brian and the Advent season is upon us. I love this time of year. It is a special time where we join with Christians all over the globe, across denominations, in looking forward to celebrating the birth of Christ at Christmas, and then also just living with an extra heightened sense of anticipation, remembering that one day Christ will return.

And I'm so happy that we are able to bring you this year another year of Advent Daily Devotionals. We have been able to produce these for several years now, and this year you're going to hear from almost entirely non-staff contributors. These are the folks that are sitting next to you in the seats week in and week out on Sunday.

And almost everyone who's contributed a devotional this year is new to this. We have almost nobody who's done one in the past, so we have a series of fresh voices for you to help you get the most out of this Advent season. On Sunday of every week, you'll hear a short conversation between a few of our pastors, reflecting on that week's theme, and then every other day you'll get a devotional from somebody within the Bridgeway community.

It is our hope and prayer that these devotionals bless you as you celebrate the Advent season, and it is our joy to be able to walk alongside you through these four weeks as we look forward to celebrating the birth of our King. Enjoy, and God bless you.
