Herding the pervitin-crazed cats of my mind into the underground showers for delousing in this episode takes a back seat not only to the requisite selling out of everything he's ever thought he believed in (in the form of a simple commercial break, which even merely rerecording brings him joy) to a simple and straightforward reading of a single long and highly convoluted answer Martin gives to an equally short and straightforward question from a friend on Telegram regarding his mental state on the afternoon of Monday, September 14th, 2020 (CE), with eventual rambling around and around in circles for 23 minutes before finally mentioning all of maybe half a dozen or so (no more) things which he needs to mention every episode for continuity's sake alone, e.g., plugging the website, mentioning listener support, and soliciting listener comments via the voicemail feature on the Anchor.fm website where the new episodes of "Adventures of A Marten" first go live.

This basically unedited episode was a test of Anchor's web interface for editing audio to insert sponsor clips, and also to get back into the swing of recording for the podcast even when I am somewhat tired. Tim contributes his thoughts on love via text message, sending Wolfdog and Martin on a circuitous conversation recirculating more or less to where they started -- but fear not! The whole thing's under fifteen minutes long.

This is the last "trailer" I expect to record before getting down to posting something more akin to real episodes. That, such as it is, is currently in the production pipeline, and I just wanted to put it out there what was coming before initiating the process of uploading that. So there you have it.

It was a long, strange night. I'm just gonna keep recording little minute-long clips for the time being (like this one) until I have something substantial to say. At this point, I'm still familiarizing myself with the Anchor interface. It seems a little bit stripped down to the bare bones, to me, but never did I ever dream I'd be recording podcasts with a studio mic on a laptop in my bed in a matter of minutes to produce from start to finish.
