Hello, potatoes! A few weeks ago, we were discussing the Central Park Five in AP Language class, and I had made a comment out of anger and intensity. It was not a bad or inappropriate comment, but it was not necessarily the best in the context of the setting nor was it worded correctly or eloquently. Due to this mistake, I have been withdrawing myself from a lot of discussions and I realized I should not be defining all of my comments as a "bad comment" because of this one mistake. I understood what I said was not the right thing, so I apologized; I should not be retracting myself when I am fine now. If you have done something wrong, do not feel like it should be the sole thing defining you. (Obviously, if you said it with ill intent, then you should reconsider your actions.) You should never keep yourself from expressing your true potential from one little setback. This is my advice to you as much as it is advice to myself. :)
