A special off-week episode of the AEW Match Guide where I go through my ballot for the Greatest Wrestlers Ever Project, listing out my top 100 wrestlers of all time. It was a very fun experience and even though I have some massive gaps in my knowledge and therefore my ballot, I'm very happy with all my thoughts and am happy to stand by it.

I'm curious who you would all have in your top 100 too, it was a fun exercise.

If you want to submit a ballot submission for the 2026 edition of the project are open until the 5th of May and you can do so here: https://forums.prowrestlingonly.com/forum/777-greatest-wrestler-ever/ (you don't need to sign up to the forum to access the link to the ballot).

Thanks to this youtube video for my outro: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AKyYVdIIFrU

This week we deep dive into Eddie Kingston v Mike Quackenbusy, CHIKARA Grand Championship match from CHIKARA High Noon 2011 along with my special guest Mizfan (don't hold the name againt him).

In it we discuss the incredibly emotionally charged promo & performance by Eddie Kingston in the lead up as well as how CHIKARA was at the cutting edge of how wrestling has developed long-term, character-driven storytelling.

If you've never seen the match or promo then you can see them on CHIKARA's Youtube Chanel here:

This week we deep dive into The Golden Lovers v The Young Bucks from NJPW Strong Style Evolved 2018 featuring special guest commentary from Matt Jackson of The Young Bucks as well as Imp from Imp's AEW Adventures.

In it we discuss how the build to this match laid out a blueprint for pro wrestling TV that The Elite would take into AEW and how that story gave this match's action such a strong foundation to build on.

And we get Matt's exclusive thoughts on what went into putting this match together and how they felt about it afterwards.

For some additional lite reading here is a super in-depth article about the history of The Golden Lovers that I read extensively in researching for this podcast: https://medium.com/we-need-to-talk-about-wrestling/that-one-tweet-thread-about-the-golden-lovers-annotated-e9fc604e3a7f
