    The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has confirmed 90 new cases of coronavirus in the country. This brings the total number of COVID-19 infections recorded in the country so far to 56,478.
    The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in a tweet on its official handle, confirmed the country reported five new deaths as a result of the virus, within the last 24 hours.

    This is according to its 2020 Goalkeepers’ Report, which measures progress of countries in relation to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.

  • Nigerian Government Says Dangote Refinery Has Little Effect On Fuel Price
    Nigeria’s Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed, has said when Dangote’s refinery begins operations next year, it may not lead to significant reduction in the price of petrol because it will be selling at the international price.
    Ahmed said this was because the refinery was located at the Export Processing Zone in Lagos State.
    The minister said this on the Nigerian Television Authority’s Good Morning Nigeria programme on Monday.

  • Nigeria Records 132 New COVID-19 Cases
    The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has confirmed 132 new cases of coronavirus in the country. This brings the total number of COVID-19 infections recorded in the country so far to 56,388.
    The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed this on Monday via its official Twitter handle.
    Lagos had fifty-two cases which accounted for the highest number of infections.
    A total of 44,337 persons have recovered from the virus while the death toll now stands at 1,083.
