Unfortunately Dburt's flu and pre-Christmas shenanigans preempted our regularly scheduled programming but we're back in business this Wednesday at 7pm.  Pull up a seat and a keen ear and listen to Captain Kirk and Dburt wax on the following current event laden issues:  in honoring our vow to take a moment to deliberate on positive spin in our new "Blue Area" (of The Moon) segment-two stories come to mind-Dr. Henry Louis Gates releases a new book entitled In Life Upon These Shores in which he discusses Black historical icons and could we see former Sec. of State, Condoleezza Rice get the VP nod on the republican ticket in 2012?; in true "Afronerdic" fashion, a Philadelphia Tribune article posits if Black America is in need of "re-branding"; and speaking of needing to change perception...a Texas community is enraged over the merchandising of t-shirts emblazoned with crack cocaine making instructions; North Korean leader, Kim Jong iL (aka LiL Kim..he he) passes and lastly some quick miscellaneous blurbs on NY Yankees Derek Jeter's "negative" rating; Rihanna's N-Word diss and the new six minute Dark Knight Rises trailer!  See you at 7pm!
