After Also Mike awkwardly plugs our entire year’s worth of work at the top of the show, we dive right into the 3 big sets of winners of the past weekend from the Screen Actors Guild, Producers Guild of America, and ACE EDDIE awards. Plus, we kinda scream & yell like we’re still living in 2005 over Brad & Jennifer & that hug. We’re sorry that we’re not sorry.

Our Best Picture discussion comes in two parts during this episode as we discuss the SAG Ensemble win from Parasite, and later on, we break down the PGA Award for 1917. How do we power rank the Best Picture nominees? What must Once Upon A Time In Hollywood do at the BAFTA’s? Or is 1917 gonna run away with the year? Do let us know your thoughts on this as well.

The SAG’s also seemed to lock up all four of the acting categories. So...ummm… yeah, we’re gonna have to get creative with how we do our next 3 acting category overview pods. But we do discuss some crossover stats on all of the SAG & PGA wins throughout this episode to make our points, and they do seem pretty definitive here.

We discuss all of the winners from the Producer Guild of America Awards, you get the rest of our Best Picture discussion, and then we also talk about Animated Feature amongst other wins. Finally, the ACE EDDIE’s editing awards were announced, and Parasite continued to surge with it’s big win there.
