10 January 2019: One of the things we love the most about living in Dubai is the HUGE variety of foods on offer. Georgia is joined on Chef's Table by Fatima Rabbani, one of the three founders of the Afghan restaurant, Kishmish.
They just won best homegrown restaurant at the BBC Good Food Middle East awards, and you can find their restaurant in Dar Al Wasl Mall, near the Creek in Jumeirah. They also have a kiosk in the Todd English Food Hall in the Fashion Avenue of Dubai Mall.
Fatima Rabbani, Iman Nazemi, and Homaira Nasser-zia, all grew up in different countries with various experiences, yet the three share a strong love of food and their homeland, which enivitably brought them together. To each of them, meals play a crucial role in building personal ties, but even more so in connecting with their homeland, Afghanistan.
