Amy speaks about her research and writing on media representations of the crisis of missing and murdered Indigenous women in Australia. Through her work, she re-frames Indigenous women as not missing but disappeared, turning the focus back onto the settler colonial state and criminal punishment system to look at the myriad ways that Indigenous women are failed, and by whom, when it comes to experiences of violence.You can read Amy's writing on her substack Presence.
