2nd Corinthians 6:1-2

When you walk with the worlds way of living, understand that you are a walking as a slave in your flesh. You cannot be saved by your works or your good deeds. It is only through the Grace of God that we are saved. We are shown mercy for our sins through Saving Grace. We have peace with God because of his Justifying Grace. We taught how to live a holy and dedicated life through Teaching Grace. We are given strength to overcome any situation in our life through Enabling Grace.

Psalms 23:1-6

Because we serve and know God, we understand that we can obtain continual victory because we are in him. As we walk through this life with sickness, grief, pain, sorrows, and continual trials; we have a shepherd in the Lord. But ask yourself, have I really given him my whole being? Do I really have God in my heart? You've been living day to day in sin and out of sin and no matter what you do you cannot fill the void within you. Now is the day and time of salvation! All it takes is to proclaim God as your shepherd!

Exodus 18:21 With the midterm election upon us, there are many people questioning who they should vote for. Remember, God wants us to base our choice on biblical qualifications. God is looking for leaders who fear him because the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. There are some leaders that believe God holds them to a higher standard and accountability. God is looking for leaders that are truthful. Look for the person with the most integrity and trustworthiness. God is looking for leaders who hate dishonesty. Mark 10:45 What does it mean to serve? We are serving God because we are receiving the kingdom of God. The key is to remember that you are doing it to help others with love which will ultimately glorify the Lord. Serving isn't about receiving attention for ourselves. Be selfless and not selfish! So why is it so important to serve God? And to do it with the intent to help others. When we serve others with the intent of glorifying God we will stand out from the ones that are looking to help themselves. Jesus is the best example of what it means to serve. He saw a people who were broken and hurt, and he gave up his life so we can have everlasting life. 1 Corinthians 7:32-35 For those who are struggling to be single, know that God has your best interest at heart. Be fulfilled in God whether you are in a relationship or single. Being single is not a cure, it is a gift to serve God and do good works. Also, ask yourself "Is it my time to be married?" Many of us are searching for fulfillment in our life to be happy. And often times we translate that happiness with the need to be with someone. Just because you are not married that doesn't mean that you are married. Society has placed it in our mind that being married as soon as possible is tied to happiness. So how can we be fulfilled with being single? Live in the sovereignty of God.
