Agweek reporter Noah Fish is joined by Jan Joannides, executive director and co-founder of Renewing the Countryside. Joannides shares how the nonprofit started as a book in the early 2000s and how far it's come today. RTC works as a partner with American Farmland Trust on a model which places an easement on transitioning land, so the farm can then be sold to another farmer at a reduced price. The specific transition discussed in the show is between Singing Hills Farm in Northfield and the Lor family.
