Minnetonka Schools is committed to supporting our students and families in meaningful ways. In this episode, learn more about the history and impact of the upcoming Minnetonka Community & Resource Night—a unique event that connects families with an incredible variety of local resources to meet various needs, from housing and healthcare to food support, energy assistance and more. This year’s Minnetonka Community & Resource Night will take place on Friday, November 21 from 6-8pm at Minnetonka Middle School East. 

The conversation features three of the people who have been involved in the planning, development and support of the event, including Cari Lindberg, coordinator of the Minnetonka Family Collaborative, and two student leaders from the Tonka Neighbors Initiative club at Minnetonka High School. 

Serving the greater good is a core aspect of the mission of Minnetonka Public Schools. In this episode, listen in as podcast host and executive director of communications, Dr. JacQui Getty, connects with student leaders from the Minnetonka High School Interact Club and with Sarah Johnson, the District’s Community Service Specialist who coordinates the Tonka Serves office.

The Interact Club is hosting a food drive to support the high school’s food shelf site, which it has built in partnership with ICA Food Shelf, at Minnetonka High School, on Saturday, November 22.

In Minnetonka Schools, students are at the heart of everything we do. Elevating student voice has been an important priority for our School Board and District leadership.
