While UTSA Men's Basketball is entering play in one of the top mid-major conferences in college basketball, interest and hype levels are at an all time low. That's disappointing! We try to make heads or tails of this revamped roster by analyzing an overtime win against Western Illinois. The Roadrunners may be able to rack up some easy wins early in the season but the conference slate will be brutal and punishing. Sad meeps.

Former Roadrunner ace and fan favorite Luke Malone returns to the pod to give us an update on his professional baseball career following his graduation. I thought I knew Luke's story pretty well, but this interview taught me a lot that I didn't know about Luke's career, including what brought him to UTSA and how the pandemic made a profound difference in his career. After two amazing consecutive regular seasons, UTSA once again finds itself on the cusp of a regional bid. The Roadrunners have very little cushion in terms of RPI, so a strong showing in the conference tournament is an absolute must lest the Roadrunners be left at home in yet another year.
