The Roadrunners need to find their groove again this weekend as they welcome USF to the Bird Bath. UTSA will be battling to keep their #2 seed in the conference tournament, but they'll need some improved starting pitching this weekend to make it happen. The Roadrunners overcame an awful top of the first inning to defend the Bird Bath in the I-35 Rivalry. While the bats responded thanks to a grand slam from Mason Lytle, UTSA's defense continued to raise concerns. Dan welcomed Cory Davis back to the podcast to discuss UTSA's win over the Bobcats on Tuesday night.

The UTSA Women's Tennis team has quietly put together one of the best regular seasons in program history as they finished the season undefeated at home for the first time since 1992. After some careless Aggie errors gave UTSA a comfortable lead in the early innings, it looked like UTSA was heading towards a road win in College Station for the second straight season. Instead, the Roadrunners arguably left a middle reliever in for two long, then the Aggies ripped out UTSA's heart with a walk-off homerun in the bottom of the 9th. While it was a tough loss against one of the top teams in the country, there were still plenty of positive takeaways for UTSA.

Former UTSA Baseball player Jonathan Tapia joins the show to claim the throne for the most guest appearances on Around the Bird Bath and break down some observations from UTSA's 7-4 win over UIW on Tuesday.
