BIG IDEA: The point of following Jesus is to actually follow Jesus, not just with the intellect of our mind or the intentions of our heart but with the totality of our life.

BIG IDEA: When our expectations of God collide with the realizations of life, our faith to believe always hangs in the balance.

BIG IDEA: In God’s economy, success isn’t found in capturing first; it’s choosing second.

Sometimes our greatest blessing can become our greatest test.
You can have faith, or you can have control, but you can’t have both.
If we place everything in God’s hand, eventually we will begin to see God’s hand in everything.

Our next yes is a continual commitment to:
-resisting fear and embracing love
-resisting control and embracing surrender

BIG IDEA: God usually doesn’t reveal His will for information or evaluation; He reveals it for participation.

We’ve been chosen by the Father, rescued by the Son, and sealed by the Spirit.

BIG IDEA: Jesus came to bring what could never be bought.

1. Freedom without manipulation
2. Compassion without question
3. Forgiveness without reservation

In the storms of life, Jesus is not a Mighty God we are waiting for, but one we are waiting with.
