Beverley Fulker introduces herself by saying, “My name is Beverley Sky Fulker and I am thankful to have been born with a large facial birthmark (port-wine stain) on my face. I had a little laser treatment when I was a teenager and I am happy to say it didn’t work. I’m glad it is a stubborn mark and for many years I have felt that I would not remove it for all the money in the world.” This lady is more than just an inspiration to us all (especially to the youth of today). Proving that beauty is indeed skin deep. She helps people to realise their potential by understanding that “what lies on the inside happens to be far greater than what we "imagine or see" on the outside.” She has an incredible story to tell and we can’t wait to hear from her.

On a spiritual level, we all emanate from and then return to the same source of universal energy. Indian poet, Kabir, put this concept very eloquently with the words, “The river that flows in you also flows in me.” Our second guest has a gift like no other. Cathy Ballard eats, breathes and sleeps with her belief in spirituality. We couldn’t have timed this interview better!! We have some great questions for her on religion, science & spirituality and can’t wait to have her on the show this Sunday.

Our two very special guests this coming Sunday are not just inspirational but truly extraordinary people!!

I greeted the postman at the door on my birthday (last month) and opened a parcel to see one of the most amazing books (The Rat in my tent – hilarious memoirs of an Ex Boy Soldier) dedicated to me. I was moved beyond words not just by the thought or the gesture but by the man himself. Someone I have helped with his book along the way!! But why was I so moved? Brian Foster, the Author is 82 years old and has written the most amazing book of short stories about growing up in the 1930s & ‘40s in the Army and in civilian life. To think of this man who does not only have a passion to live life to the fullest but a desire to succeed, not to mention the humorous side of him at the age of 82!!

Our second guest is Josie Arden who is an Author who is now completely blind. Her father gave her a book when she was 14 years old, called “How to write a novel” and 67 years later she is the Author of the book “Broken Ties of Time”. She was 82 when she published the book. It took her over 20 years (and 19 drafts) to finish it, only because she was rapidly going blind in the process (during the last few years of completion, she was completely blind). She was also a carer to 9 people at one point and built a small room in her garden and worked from dawn to nightfall in order to complete the same. This is a lady with extraordinary courage and resilience.
