October 19, 2026 will be a huge day in Alberta. A couple million people will vote on at least nine (and probably eleven) questions that could forever alter the province's future. There's a heavy focus on immigration policy, along with proposals for big changes to judicial appointments, federal funding transfers, and abolishing the Senate. And, of course, it's expected Albertans will vote on the province's future in (or outside of) Canada and coal mining in the Rocky Mountains. In this episode, we go through the list - question by question - with one of the sharpest observers of Alberta politics, political science professor Dr. Duane Bratt, in our feature interview presented by Mercedes-Benz Edmonton West.
