The only task more daunting in recent memory than this week's expedition to 1972, is LAST year's trip back to 1971, and that year's massive release of music! Some of the names are the same, but many are new, or renewed. More bands, still bound to the old school record label release schedules, make two appearances in '72.

Other years would continue to make major impact, but 1971/1972 back-to-back? Tough to top!
