In this podcast you will learn if it's worth it traveling while running a business online.

I travel to Los Angeles and walk down Hollywood Boulevard while explaining what my life is like as a digital nomad.

In a lot of my videos I'm in a new city, new country.

Why should you travel while running a business online?

What are the advantages and disadvantages?

Some people want to see the world, meet different people from different cultures.

These are all valid reasons, but the main reason why I'm traveling is because I got addicted to traveling.

It's very addicting to change where you live, the kind of people around you, to be forced to reset your havits over and over, every time you land in a new city.

So what are the benefits?

Always going somewhere new insures you don't get bored.

For me, after 2-3 months in one city becomes quite boring, even in my favorite cities like Valencia (Spain).

That's what happens if you get SPOILED by traveling non stop.

Same people, same food, same language, variety really helps me reset myself and embrace the change.

After traveling for 4 years, for business and fun, I got addicted to traveling.

Every 2-3 months I go somewhere new.

I tried staying in Barcelona for 4 months and even there I wanted to leave to go somewhere new.

If you're forced to re-establish your routines, you are forced to get used to change... You are also automatically getting new routines just because you're always moving.

You go to a different gym, new classes, you keep growing and improving yourself.

What are some disadvantages of traveling 365 days a year...

You can forget normal jobs of course... But you also can't have a normal office or work space.

You need to either rent one or work from home, an ever-changing home.

You have to look for places to rent every single time.

Furthermore, you can't have employees with you unless they travel with you.

For me, that's an advantage.

I'm able to work with people online, I don't like offices, I just like the travel life.

Today I'm in LA, in a few days I'm going to London and Valencia.

We're going to hang out there with other Daily Business Hustle mastermind members.

One of the things that I do when I go to a new city, I look up who I know in that city... and I travel around, meet up with people and get shown around.

If you don't have a youtube channel, you can still have friends in different cities, of course, my method (a mastermind) isn't the only one. :)

Plus, if you're in a mastermind or community, you can ask locals for help.

It really helps being part of an online community.

We travel together, go to parties and help each other in business.

I have this theory about hiring people and it’s a little bit controversial, so don’t listen to this podcast if you are not into controversial theories about hiring people. When you are hiring someone in the first 24 hours, if they give any excuses or don’t deliver anything, as a general rule you fire them and you go to the next applicant.

And every time I broke this rule and I mean 100% of the time when I broke this rule, I was very sorry that I broke the rule, because every single time the employee ended up developing that as a habit. They do not do it just that one day, it’s a habit.

People do the same thing every day, the thing that they do the first day is the thing that they are going to do every single day. After one day if you have a hint of a thought that I want to fire this person, then do it. It’s just the first day, do not worry about it. And this applies to the first week as well.

What if I told you that I like to hire people for $3 an hour. Does this make me a bad person, because I do not pay them a lot of money or is there something else going on here?

I like hiring people for $3 an hour, because those people are often times very capable, very good workers and they just ask for $3 an hour and I make a business, I want to make a profit. Also in their country $3 an hour is enough to survive. Just because to you or to me it sounds that it is not a lot of money does not mean that it is a bad deal.

It’s the market value of the work that that person produces. Now what if I decided to hire that person and I said: “No, no. I am not going to pay you $3 an hour, because that is not enough money. I am going to pay you $25 an hour”. And for the same person and same qualification I pay $25 an hour. What happens then?

That person then starts thinking: “Well. I made it. I have achieved everything that I want to achieve in my life. I made all of the money that I want to make and I can focus on all of the other areas in my life. I do not need to develop myself, I do not need to develop new skills, I do not need any of that. I just make $25 an hour for the rest of my life and then retire”.

Whereas, if I keep paying them $3 an hour, here is what happens then. They make enough to survive, because in their country that is a lot of money. And I can hire multiple people, so I am not just hiring one person, I am hiring 2, 3, 4 people and they all have a job, they all have an opportunity to learn from me, to develop themselves and learn new skills, and improve their market value.

This podcast will teach you how to be as effective as possible in the business world. If your brain works at the needed level, you will be able to stay laser focused and work at the maximum capacity on a certain task.

A successful CEO of a company does not deal with minor tasks. Everything is taken care of his employees. All he has to do is to take decisions that will affect the way the company works.

On the other hand, there are people with many children who have to take care of all those children, go to the supermarket, wash the dishes, etc.

Who of those two people will be able to concentrate 100% on a certain task? Now, you will learn how to become more like a CEO and less like a father of 20 children.

People want to travel the world and do cool things in their lives. In order to do that, they have to set up their life to make it happen. You need to make your brain able to perform at a level that will allow you to achieve these goals.

Most people say that they want to have a billion dollars and they continue to go to their job and drive in traffic every day. They spend time on minor activities that will not help them achieve their goals.

It is not very efficient for a business owner to go to a supermarket and drive in traffic. You can simply pay someone $10 and he will deliver groceries to your door.

It is best to live with people who are also entrepreneurs and have the same interests like you. Living with people who smoke weed, wake up in the middle of the night and yell at someone can break your daily routines and you will not be able to get any work done.

People who are entrepreneurs, who wake up on time and get a lot of work done will motivate you a lot more than the loser friends that most people have.

Another common problem that most people have is a not stable internet connection. My business depends on having good Internet. I always have at least 2 Internet connections. You have to be 100% sure that you have a stable connection to the online world.

Other people spend 40 hours a week just to find a girlfriend. That is an absolute waste of time. You have to spend no more than 2 hours a day on social activities.

You need to have a structured environment where you have your life set up. That will help you in business, waking up early and getting work done every single day.

Nowadays, you don’t have to be a CEO to travel around the world and to be able to afford a luxurious place. You can move to cheap countries, rent a place with several entrepreneurs and split the cost.

Don’t rent apartments with open spaces where you eat, sleep and work at the same room.

You have to develop these as a habit. That way, you don’t have to keep using willpower and keep relearning everything. You have to make these activities a part of your life. Only then you will see that running a business can be much easier than you used to think it is.

The majority of people spend a lot of hours to go to meetings with their clients in the hope that they can get a sale. Most businesses run like that. Whereas, online entrepreneurs cannot think about that at all.

1 – The first reason not to go to these meetings is that you don’t want to get stuck in traffic. You want have a quiet environment which can help you focus on working on your business and not on all the hardships in the world.

You have to get away from all the distractions that can prevent you from working at your maximum level.

If you are thinking about the next big sale that you will make and someone next to you is talking about how bad the economy is, then it will be pretty hard to focus on your thought.

If your goal is to reach the 7 – figure level, it would be very helpful to you to be around people who are already there, who do not wake up at 5am to be in traffic every day. Being around people who perform at a very high level will push you forward to achieve your goals.

Another huge advantage of not being in traffic is that you save 10+ hours a week. It takes 40 hours a week to build a business and people spend a quarter of that in traffic.

You are going from being one of the huge crowd to a person who has a highly leveraged activity of a business owner. Your responsibility will grow and you will have to take more important decisions that can affect other people as well.

Most people live an average life where they have to take decisions for their boring job that have no correlation with their development as a human being. As a business owner your decisions matter to you and a lot more people.

Instead of having to go the supermarket, you can have it delivered to your home.

Instead of going through your social media and chatting with friends all day, carefully follow a schedule that is proven to work.

Leverage your time even more. Hire people who are smarter than you and train them how to the things that you were used to do. They are going to do a better job and free up your time.

Standardize your business, funnel and offer. Make it super simple, repetitive and boring.

Charge way more money than you used to. That way, people will take your business more seriously. They will also appreciate the service that they have bought from you.

There are people who think that there is a lot of competition and they decrease their prices because of that. On the other hand, there are other people who charge a lot of money and want to deal only with wealthy people. The second type of people tends to make a lot more money, especially in industries where the service is not standardized.

You have responsibility as a business owner to have more energy and look happier so that you can contribute more to your clients. If you do not prioritize yourself, you will not be able to give as much to the world.

You cannot do the same thing over and over and expect a miracle to happen. After a while you will reach a certain level in your business which is almost impossible to overcome if you do the same boring stuff.

If you want to improve and scale your business, you have to go through some changes. You need to change the way you look at your business. If you do that, the old way of running your business will sound weird to you.

This podcast will help you see the next level of your business so that you can make an attempt to reach it. If you see that it is possible, you will have bigger motivation to reach that level. You will be able to go from a 5/6 - figure paradigm to a 7 – figure paradigm.

You cannot just sit on the couch and expect that one day you will wake up as a successful business owner.

1 – The first and most important thing that you have to do is to reinvest in your business. The money that you have made from your company should be reinvested in the company.

Hire people smarter than you in every single area that you are weak at. Automate your business and focus on the most important things and decisions that you have to take.

When most people earn a few thousand dollars, they immediately start travelling around the world and spend it on very weird stuff that has no relation to their future success in business.

This money does not belong to you. You can’t take 100% of the profit and spent it on drugs, weed or alcohol.

2 – You have to turn everything into a process and an asset in your business.

If you are doing all the work by yourself, then you are a freelancer. But, if you are able to outsource the work and pay someone to do the work for you – then you are running a business and are building an asset in your company.

You should be running ON your business and not IN your business. The minor tasks have to be done by your employees and not by yourself. You are reinvesting and building assets with a high return on investment.

After your business reach a certain level, you can start hiring smarter employees that can do really high quality work and who can do it even better than you. If you manage them correctly, they will help you build your business.

Hiring a team of “A” players is the key to making millions of dollars.

3 – Instead of running your business like an artist, you have to start running it by the numbers. Running your business as an artist is very scary. You do not know what is happening in your company, who you have to fire and who to hire.

You have to be aware of how much funds are in your company. If you do not track your finances, most likely, they are going to go down.

You need to track it and improve it consciously. That is how you can build a successful business.
