Trade war continues… China has hit back with tariffs on $60 billion in U.S. goods after President Trump increased tariffs on $200 billion of Chinese goods last Friday. The moves were made after trade talks once again stalled between the two countries. Sabrina Rodriguez, trade reporter at Politico, joins us for the latest tit-for-tat and how Trump’s trade agenda is working out so far. 

Next, Operation Varsity Blues continues to work its way through the courts as actress Felicity Huffman has officially pled guilty in the college admission cheating scandal.  The big question now is, what will her punishment be?  Prosecutors are eyeing 4-10 months in federal prison and a $20,000 fine.  Lou Shapiro, federal defense attorney in Los Angeles, joins us to discuss the case and why William H. Macy hasn’t been charged with anything.
