In this episode I share my BEST and WORST launches. I've launched quite a few times - at least 20.

I haven't had any huge launches, nor have I had big flops - my launches have fallen in the middle and what makes one a success over another very much links to what I spoke about in episode 29: how I felt during it, how I showed up AND the final outcomes. 

I've always been more focused on my lovely Kinesiology clients, with launching courses or digital products being a secondary way to work with me. In this season of my life, I have little time to focus on something like launching and when I do launch - it simply *has* to be low stress. It's a big reason why I created the Launch Success Kit - I needed it too!

I share about three launches I felt were particularly successful - for different reasons AND one launch that wasn't so great. I also share how that launch actually ended up being more beneficial for my business than I realised initially. You may recognise the same from a launch you've had that wasn't so successful.

What Makes a Great Launch?

The quick answer to this question is that of course YOU get to decide what makes a great launch for you. 

For most of us, outcomes do of course play a part, but feeling good during your launch and having a wider perspective are important too.

Here are four factors you might like to consider that could contribute to YOUR great launch:

1 - Committing to launching and creating your plan

If you've never launched or you avoid launching, just committing to doing it and following through is a big deal and worth celebrating.

2 - How you feel

You get to decide how much of a priority how you feel is during your launch. If doubt, fear, worry or other stressful feelings put you off launching or cause you to feel overwhelmed, you must check out my Launch Success Kit. It will help for sure!

3 - How you show up

Showing up for your launch and allowing yourself to be a lot more visible can have wonderful flow of effects. It can really stretch you and really contribute to so much growth if you choose to take on the challenge of showing up fully.

4 - Specific outcomes

The number of people who buy your thing and the amount of money you make of course contribute to a great launch - they are signs you've created something helpful that your clients want and that your messaging is clear. Great work!

Creating a Simple New Product

Is it the right time for you to create a new product? Sometimes you feel like you're ready for a fresh injection of energy to your business, you see a need your clients have, you want to provide a new way to work with you or perhaps you can't work with your clients in your usual way and creating a digital product your clients would find useful is a win-win for them AND you.

In this episode, we look at four steps you might work through to create a new product.

1 - Pay attention to what your clients genuinely NEED.

Get curious. You might notice a particular theme or issue coming through in multiple sessions. You could pay attention to what your clients/audience respond to with more enthusiasm on social media, an article you write, a podcast interview or episode you do or a particular newsletter topic or theme that gets more opens or replies. See if you can figure out the core problem that is being highlighted that you can help with.

2 - What tools do you have in your toolkit that can help solve the problem you identified?

What processes, tools, techniques, ways of thinking etc would you use to solve the problem you identified? 

3 - What is the best format to support your clients to get the results or change they want?

It might be one or two hour online workshop, a series of very short videos, audios and workbooks, a short e-course where you go through a process, a package of sessions (if you don't want to go digital right now, or the problem you identified would currently be better served in a personalised way) or a kit - which was the best option for me.

4 - Choose the name.

It's tempting to choose a fun, clever name you like but you'll likely make things a lot easier for your clients AND you if you choose a title that is as clear as possible on what you get and the benefit to your clients. Making it about them and their needs rather than your own desire to be creative can make it a lot clearer for your clients. You know what they say: a confused mind doesn't buy. So make it clear. This can make your marketing easier too - you don't have to spend so much time explaining what exactly your product or the benefit actually IS!

If you break down the name Launch Success Kit, it clearly tells you: it's designed to help you with your launch, it speaks to a desired outcome of success and it's a "kit" which gives you *some* idea of the format before you even read about what's included. My first idea was: Launch Alignment Kit. Even though *I* liked it, do YOU most want an "aligned" launch or a "successful" launch? Ultimately I AM helping you create alignment in your launch but what my clients actually WANT is a successful launch and the tools in the kit absolutely support that.

At the time of publishing this episode, a lot of Australia is in lockdown. If you're feeling the stress of that - or feeling stuck or challenged in any other way - I created this episode for you.

I had very challenging period some years ago now after leaving a difficult relationship situation.   I had some deep healing work to do but as I started to feel better, I felt unable to move forwards until an external thing happened - selling a property I was responsible for.

In the meantime, I was 36, living with my parents in the country whilst paying that mortgage, yet to even start re-establishing myself in Adelaide - a place I hadn't lived in for 15 years.  I was grateful for my parents' support but it not what I had envisaged for my life. I was already upset at time I had lost/wasted and more waiting was really adding salt in the wound!

One of the things that helped me while I was in that seemingly never-ending holding pattern (10 months in the end) was to start to cast my mind forward, to see way past the current situation and to visualise myself in the future, when the current events would just be a distant memory, a story - just as they are now.

What to do when you're doing ALL the right things - and it's not working.

It's the worst. You know you're doing the right things, you're doing ALL.THE.THINGS you're supposed to be doing, that other people do to achieve success. Why isn't it working for you? 

When you're in this place, my guess is that you've gotten caught up in a) being busy doing stuff, and b) looking outside yourself.

My advice? Reconnect - to yourself, to your ideal clients, and to what you actually offer and sell.

Let's break that down:

1. Re-establish connection with yourself. How? Journalling, use the prompts in my Align + Attract book, meditate, walk, align to a goal using my alignment process, book a Kinesiology session
2. Re-establish connection with your ideal clients. Who are they? What do they want and need? How can you help them?  Check out: alignandattract.com/idealclients
3. Re-establish connection with what you offer and are selling. Is the name and description/sales page really clear? Does it make sense to your ideal clients? Do you communicate the value? Is it easy to buy from you?

As I say in the episode, if you're really stuck, booking a Kinesiology session is my go-to. You want to move out of this feeling of "nothing is working" fast, and Kinesiology can give you some deeper insights into what's going on, and really help you super-charge your connection with yourself.
