  • Building a Foundation for a 6 Figure Business

In this week's episode of Aligned & Ambitious Radio, I’m talking about how to build a solid foundation for a six-figure business regardless of where you are in your business at the moment. Since this podcast episode was originally a live Q&A and hot seat coaching, you also get to hear my answers to questions from people just like you!

“Whether you’re super close to being at the six-figure point this year, still at the beginning of your business and wanting to work your way up toward it or, positive that next year is going to be that year for you and this is just a kickstarter year, this episode is full of takeaways for you. This is the first out of three live streams I have planned for us and it should be an amazing series.”

Throughout the episode, we're going to talk about the key steps and strategies to keep in mind as you go through the process of scaling your business. Personally, my business grew super fast so I’m going to be mentioning a lot of things that we didn’t implement until we realized, “Oh boy, we’ve gotta make some changes.” But I hope this episode will enable you all to implement these strategies sooner than later.

Episode #45: How to Build a 6-Figure Personal Brand

One fundamental part of building that 6-figure-business foundation is treating your business like a business from the very beginning. So even on days when you don’t feel like showing up, you need to pull on your CEO pants and do it.

Of equal importance is paying attention to ALL the important components of a business from the very beginning. So instead of taking things day by day or month by month, track your numbers and sales, set quarterly and yearly goals, and think about taxes and saving money.

You should also get into the habit of referring to your company as exactly that: a company. Because as you continue to grow, you’ll slowly have an entire team behind you. And your business won’t be just about you. Instead, it will be about working as a team to make your company’s mission come to life.

The truth is, no one is going to grow their business to the level they want without planning and taking action for it now. So focus on always being a step ahead and building a strong foundation as you go, regardless of where your business is currently at. And to do that, consider questions like:

    • What do you want?
    • What does your company want?
    • How involved do you want to be with everything?
    • What are your main priorities?
    • Most importantly: What are your company's mission and vision?

You don’t want to get to a point in your business when you’re so ahead in your business, you’re walking over a bridge with no foundation. By answering these questions and considering these strategies from the very beginning of your business, you, your team, and your company will be able to grow with ease.

  • How To Build Your Product Suite

In this week's episode of Aligned & Ambitious Radio, I’m excited to talk with you about how to build your product suite. It is a super important topic to discuss when it comes to scaling your business and having a wide variety of offers to help your different levels of clients.

"A product suite is essentially just the tool kit of offers that you have and the different ways that you work with your clients. It's normally an ascension model for me, something that's really important as I'm coming up with my offers is knowing the next step for my client. The last thing you want to do is have a client work with you, have an amazing experience, finish their course or their package, and then they don't know the next step."

Throughout the episode, we will come up with ideas on how to build your tool kit of offers and help you maintain the awesome relationship that you have with your client.

If you enjoy this episode, you might also like:

Episode #45: How to Build a 6-Figure Personal Brand

The ideal way to lay out your product suite is in an ascending manner. Your clients can start working with you at a lower level. Then they will be able to work with you through a mid-level offer, and then with a higher-level offer.

The different offers that you have should work for different versions of your ideal client. A lot of people assume that they have one ideal client for all their offers. This is such a huge business mistake because your clients differ in feelings, goals, even in their struggles and the type of language that they speak. So you have to look at the different levels and versions of your ideal client.

Now, I don’t want you to listen to this episode and get stressed out about having to organize your product suite immediately. It’s just about having that big-picture vision and filling-in the gaps. Because of that, by next year, I might need to review the things I have on offer or maybe even create new ones and launch something fresh.

After all, the best part of any business for me is allowing yourself to evolve along the way.

  • How I Went From Broke College Student to Multi 6-Figure Entrepreneur

In this week's episode of Aligned & Ambitious Radio, I want to tell you about how I started my business in the online space despite the disaster my life felt like beforehand.

"I'm going to tell you guys a little bit of my story, because like you, I had those same limitations I faced when I was growing my business. I'll show you and tell you basically how I moved through that and defied my self-limiting beliefs. When you can prove your initial belief to be wrong with real evidence, it becomes a lot easier to shift your belief system."

Throughout the episode, I will tell you the story of how I went from being a broke college student to a multi 6-figure entrepreneur. We’ll start the episode by discussing some of the common reasons people think they can’t successfully start their business and bust those myths one by one.

Episode #56: Are You Taking Radical Responsibility in Your Life

My first year in the business was a rollercoaster. It was honestly insane but there was so much growth coupled with a lot of mindset work because I was growing so fast. I learned that running a business can be easy and a lot of fun, and that you also make your own rules. And those rules are based on your beliefs.

So what you believe to be true about business is what you’re going to experience, especially when you’re running your own show.

I went through a lot to get where I am today, but I’ve realized I was very much meant to be in every single stage and season of life that I’ve experienced, including those moments when I felt like everything was falling apart. I’ll get to carry the life lessons I learned from every stage with me for f*cking ever!

And if you’re in a harder season of life right now, know this: it does not matter where you are right now or how things look because that doesn’t define where you’re going or what you can do next. You just have to want your dream bad enough and to have that grit and deep desire to make your dream happen.

There’s no guarantee that you won’t fail and that life won’t suck sometimes. You just have to find a way to keep going and do what you need to do until you reach that next level you’ve been working so hard for.

As you should be able to tell by now, this episode is extremely personal and close-to-my-heart, so I can’t wait for you all to hear it!

  • Launching - Why It Is SO Important, Especially During a Pandemic

This week on Aligned & Ambitious Radio, we’ll have a conversation about why launching is so important and part of my five-step process for having a launch that earns at least five figures.

“And I believe in launching so much because it builds security, it builds stability, it builds predictability, which I think is really powerful in business. So, for example, a launch can last anywhere from like one to three weeks and generate anywhere from like three to twelve months of income for you. Which is insane.”

Throughout the episode, I will talk about how launches actually enabled me to earn a full-time income, which was a super empowering experience. I also address how the pandemic right now is providing many people with more free time than they usually have, making now a great opportunity to establish a business or do your first launch so that if something unexpected happens again, you’ll have additional financial security.

I truly believe that I would not be where I am today without mastering the art of launching, and you can experience the same success.

When launching, you just need to keep a few very important things in mind, including:

    • Focus on what you really enjoy doing, whether you’re trying to decide on a new business to launch or you’re already an entrepreneur doing pretty well.
    • Make sure that you are an expert on whatever you want to launch, so you don’t cause any mistrust in you by unsatisfied clients or in the online coaching business as a whole.
    • Keep in mind that you can sell a variety of different products, courses, boot camps, and coaching arrangements online - just make sure you are acting out of service and following your passions instead of just following the money!

As we go through the episode, I will also briefly walk you through the five steps of my launching process, including stages I call “the tease,” “the hype,” “the event,” “the education” and “the sale.” I go through each of these five steps every time I launch, and it really helps me connect to my audience in a more dynamic way - and can benefit you and your audience just as much!

This discussion will be packed with actionable tips you can start applying to your own life ASAP, so definitely tune in!

  • How to Use Instagram Stories for Business

In this week's episode of Aligned & Ambitious Radio, I’m so excited to talk to you about Instagram stories and the ways you can utilize them for your business.

“If you guys know me at all, you know that I'm obsessed with Instagram. It was always my favorite platform when I was quote unquote, growing up using social media. I think I got Instagram when I was in late middle school or early high school, but I've always been obsessed with it. I always have said, ‘Instagram is like having a photo album that's digital where you can save all your pictures.’”

Throughout the episode, I will discuss:

    • How you can monetize your Instagram stories (yes, that’s totally possible!)
    • How you can show up on your Insta stories in such a powerful way, you can turn stories into new clients

Instagram is such a powerful platform that gets more and more impactful as it grows and is updated. Nowadays, people are also spending more time hanging out watching Insta stories than just scrolling through their feed. I know I’m reading way fewer feed posts and just basically watching stories every time I’m on the app.

But if you’re looking to monetize your stories and make them an impactful strategy to gain more clients, there are five things to keep in mind and we are going to discuss all of them here, one by one.

Most importantly, if you want to make money using Instagram and build strong relationships with your clients through your stories, you NEED to be consistent. You need to show up regularly and deliver the high-quality visuals, brand content and overall vibe your followers are used to interacting with on the app.

  • Launch Party Week Day 1: Launch Mindset

This week on Aligned & Ambitious Radio, it’s Launch Party Week! And we are talking all about your mindset, particularly your mindset during and surrounding a launch. I’ve noticed so many people struggling with launching their products or services. They start well but then lose their energy as their launch goes on until they’ve energetically closed the doors on their own launch.  Why? They’re letting limiting beliefs stop them from believing in themselves!

“… I always start with mindset. Always, always, always. No matter what where you work with me free or paid content, we're gonna start with mindset. Because when it comes to launching, something I always say is like the strategy, the promotion, the logistics of the launch itself, that's very simple…But if you don't have the mindset in place, it doesn't matter.”

Here’s the thing when it comes to your mindset…whatever you seek or are looking for, you are GOING to find it. So when we have these limiting beliefs, they impact our feelings and we look for evidence to prove those beliefs. And the most common beliefs that come up around launching are:

    • Beliefs surrounding money
    • Beliefs surrounding worthiness
    • Beliefs surrounding sales

As you listen to the episode, I am going to be reviewing how to flip your perspective surrounding each one of these topics. But I am also going to provide you with examples from my own experiences that will help disprove these limiting beliefs for you, because I firmly believe in leading by example.

The last thing I want to leave you with regarding your mindset during a launch is to show up as your authentic self. As much as we want to show up and be perfect, being real is so much more relatable and will actually lead to bigger launches. People want to be able to relate and identify with you.

So show up as your authentic self~ Show up in your high vibe energy with confidence knowing your offer is kick-ass, and remember, when all is said and done, even if everything is burning down around you, your mindset needs to be solid. There is no such thing as failure unless you allow it.

  • How Do I Feel Worthy of My Dreams and Desires with Dr. Onalee

In this week's episode of Aligned & Ambitious Radio, we are joined by one of my good friends and peers, Dr. Onalee. Today, we're going to have a really chill and open conversation surrounding self-love and worthiness and how that impacts your business, but also genuinely every other area of your life.

“When I learned to love myself, everything in my life started to shift and not just shift in a small way, but miraculously, it wasn't just one thing I started working on. So, what I realized was, this is the missing foundational piece and I couldn't believe I was learning about it at twenty five. So I was like, I have to get this information out to the world.”

Dr. Onalee is a chiropractor by profession and a self-love coach. She has helped hundreds of women learn to love and accept themselves. It is Dr Onalee’s mission to empower, motivate, brighten and inspire people to come home to who they really are so they can step into their power. She uses spiritual and practical tools to help women step into their higher selves and become who they are meant to be.

Throughout the episode, we’re going to cover topics that are centered around:

    • Validation
    • Self-love and
    • Overcoming self-limiting beliefs

It’s true, especially during the times when we were in middle school and high school, we pretty much seek that approval as we try to fit into specific groups with the goal of finally hanging out and being connected with other people. But going through this whole process of becoming an entrepreneur has really helped me learn where my validation needs to come from, to learn to love and accept myself, and and to stop allowing myself to be limited by fear.

  • Why We Shouldn't Be Doing Business "As Usual" in a Time of Crisis

In this week's episode of Aligned & Ambitious Radio, we’re going to talk mainly about what I believe is the right approach, strategy, and decisions that you can work through in order to run your business during this time of a global pandemic.

“I've been trying to get a gauge for where you guys are at, without being invasive and without stalking you, and kind of poking and prodding during this weird time. I've been doing surveys and polls on platforms for people who are giving me that feedback. I'm just trying to get a general gauge on where you guys are at. Not to market to you, but to see genuinely  up to what degree are you feeling the impact and where are you mentally, emotionally, and strategically in your business?”

Throughout the episode, we’ll deal with topics that are aimed to help you move forward as we navigate through the current economic climate that we are all in, including:

    • Pivoting & adaptability
    • Remote or online-based entrepreneurship
    • Product launching
    • Determining product relevance and appropriateness
    • Doing projections to ensure sustainability

If you enjoy this episode, you might also like:

    Launch Planning Timeline

We will also make an attempt to provide answers to several questions that keep coming up during this time. The questions we will be discussing include:

    • How do I navigate through what’s going on right now?
    • What are the things that I need to be doing differently right now?
    • How do I make my business sustainable?
    • How do I make offers without making people worry about their money right now?
    • How can I plan for my business more strategically?
    • How do I effectively bring my business online and monetize my profits?

This isn’t going to be a training session where I’m going to sit here and be like, “this is how you should handle your business”, or make decisions on your behalf based off of this global crisis.

Rather, they are more of the things that we should think and be concerned about as we all try and move forward in our respective businesses. After all, isn’t it most productive if we do our best to make the most out of the incredible opportunities that we have been given during this time in order to make a difference and enable ourselves to help others in our own way?

  • The Importance of Knowing Your Numbers in Your Business with Katie Ferro

In this week's episode of Aligned & Ambitious Radio, I’m going to share the stage with Katie Ferro. Together, we’re going to talk about the importance of knowing your numbers in your business.

“So we're here today to share with you guys the importance of knowing your numbers, which I always like to put a spin on, it is more empowering when you know your numbers. It helps you grow your numbers. It is true. It's so simple and  I compare it a lot to like, weight loss.”

Throughout the episode, we’ll cover topics that revolve around or have something to do with numbers in your business. Our goal is to ultimately empower everyone to be comfortable in checking in with these numbers in order to:

    • Be extremely motivated to see what’s actually working in their business and
    • Enable everyone to adjust accordingly if you don’t like what you see and do less of the things that don’t work.

If you enjoy this episode, you might also like:

    Five Figure Flow Waitlist

Episode #49: 2019: An Open and Honest Business Review

Dealing with numbers is something that many of us have found to be challenging, scary even,  ever since our school years and maybe even more so now (although in a different context) being entrepreneurs and proud owners of our own businesses.

One thing that we would like to highlight is, having good numbers isn’t all about sales. It’s really what you’re able to keep which is the profit. It is what allows us to do the things that we want to do. Every single life-changing thing that we’re working towards is brought forth by profit, not sales.

So don’t be afraid to look into those numbers involving your business, it really is no different than the fear that you feel when looking at your scale. Even though your business may currently feel good because you’re making a lot of sales, I encourage you to take a look at the actual distribution of your numbers.  How much is being re-invested in your business, what are your losses, what is your actual profit?

It wouldn’t hurt to seek the help of a professional too. Working with an expert in this field will only work wonders for your company in the long run, the way my book-keeper, turned really good friend, did in mine.
