On a recent walk, I had a surprising realization: I'm living my dream life for the second time.

The first time happened in my early 30s. I checked all the boxes I thought I was supposed to want—a master's degree, a good job, a husband, a baby, and a house. From the outside, I had achieved the American Dream. But inside, I was exhausted, disconnected, and deeply unhappy.

Today, my life looks completely different. I've left corporate, started my own business, moved into a smaller home I love, built meaningful friendships and community, prioritized adventure and travel, and recently opened my heart to a new relationship. The difference isn't the circumstances—it's how I created them.

In this episode, I share the mindset shifts that helped me stop living by society's definition of success and start creating a life that feels genuinely aligned. In this episode, I open up about a particularly "purgy" week - lots of crying, processing, and journaling - sparked in part by the full moon.

Because of the intensity, I almost skipped recording an episode this week… but instead, I leaned into it and am discussing something I believe could change everything: actually feeling your feelings.

I've realized that learning to process and understand our emotions is a "cheat code" to life. Emotions are rich with information - both biological and spiritual - and are far from being the "weakness" they were attributed to when we were kids.

Key Points:

• Emotions are biological, not weakness - they exist to keep us safe (fear, for example, is the body protecting itself)
• Every emotion has three parts: physical sensation → mental story → behavioral response
• Unwanted habits (scrolling, sugar, alcohol, overexercising) are often just distraction from unfelt feelings - process the feeling, and the habit can dissolve
• Emotions are also a spiritual guidance system: expansive = aligned, constricted = something's off
• Higher-vibration energy can trigger individual and collective emotional purging
• Practical tools for moving emotions through: walking, breathwork, shaking, and movement
• Feeling your feelings isn't just personal work - it's how we make the world better

Trust the process. Surrender to God. It will happen in divine timing.

Many of us have heard those statements. We may even say them ourselves. AND - how many of us have waited. And waited. And noticed that nothing is actually changing in our lives?

My job and marriage were heavy in my life for years. I knew changes were coming. I waited for them to come in "divine timing." Yet, months would go by and nothing would change.

After finally doing something about it, I realized that divine timing isn't what we've been led to believe.

It's not just something that shows up for us. It shows up after - not before - we take action.

I hear it all the time: "I know I'm worthy, but I don't feel it."

This happens because we're trying to apply a mental solution to a spiritual problem.

Somewhere along this human journey, we decided that worthiness was something we had to earn - through achievement, credentials, or productivity. That keeps us looking outside us for the solution. But worthiness is not something to earn. It's a God-given right. And we don't need to do anything to feel it. We just need to redirect our focus to that which is already inside us.

Most "manifestation 101" techniques describe things like affirmations and vision boards. They talk about the idea that, if you repeat something often enough, it will come into your reality.

Which is a great start for some people. But - they also either don't work for everybody, or they stop working after a period of time.

That's because those techniques don't always get at the one thing that's actually creating your reality: your state of being.

The mistake most people make is letting their current reality dictate their state of being. In order to create a new reality, you need to become the person that's a match to that reality before you have it.

That's next level manifestation. And that's what I break down in this episode.
