This weeks full-length episode is actually a Side Car conversation that we had with Professional Mountain Bike Champion Amanda Batty.  As a guest on Ep. 72 we talked with Amanda about her career and his role as a champion for the many genres of women’s cycling.  In this episode we catch up with her before her first race of the up-coming season and discuss life, her winter training, nagging injuries and even remembering recent fallen hero in the mountain bike community; ‘People’s Champion” Stevie Smith.  (FYI.. This week we spent some time with New York Times Best-Selling Author Turney Duff. His monikers not only include best selling author, but former Wall Street Trader, Hedge Fund co-Founder, Technical Adviser / Consultant for the Showtime television show Billions and contributor to CNBC.  Over the course of his career there is little that he hasn’t seen and fortunately for his fans he writes about it.   In the first segment, we talk story telling and his start as a Wall Street Trader. We discuss how as people we establish ‘lines’ that we won’t ever cross, and then how life tests that resolve and more times than not we cross our own lines. He shares his perspective about the pursuit of happiness, and how he traded that pursuit for a pursuit of serenity. He shares his view about the difference between IQ and EQ and how his talent for gauging a room was really what assisted most in his success.  The discussion about the difference is a game changer.   In the second segment we discuss his creative process and the inspiration behind his book; The Buy Side. He shares the experience of arranging his book deal with Randon House and how he was able to find the creative starting point that ended up becoming his book. He stresses the need to not trying to impress anyone and how this ended up being the door for his story that shows both his flaws and his humanity.  Turney’s experience is evidence that no matter your position or experiences in life, it’s never too late to follow a passion and ultimately turn it into your career!  You have a creative pull and would like to hear from someone that followed their passion against all odds? We roll on for another great week and this week Jade Schenk of Brahma Lending joins us to break down the thoughts and actions of true achievement!  As the son of a farming family in southeastern Idaho, Jade grew up watching his family work very hard trading time for money. Every successful person recognizes that it takes a routine and
support to achieve levels of success outside of your own
