  • EP 62: The Messy Truth: Why Mess Makes You Feel So Stressed

    Welcome to the podcast!

Today, we're talking about a topic that many of us can relate to: the stress of living in a messy, cluttered environment. If you're a woman in business, you know that keeping up with work demands can be tough enough without the added pressure of a cluttered space, or if you work from home how hard it can be to focus knowing there is mess around you (and heaven help you if you have children 😂). But have you ever stopped to consider why mess makes you feel so stressed in the first place?

In this episode, we'll dive into the messy truth about clutter and its effects on the brain and nervous system. We'll explore the science behind sensory overload and the stress response, and how clutter can impair decision-making, reduce productivity, and even affect your mental health. But don't worry, we're not here to shame or judge anyone who struggles with clutter. In fact, we want to acknowledge that feeling stressed by mess is a real and valid experience, and that it's not a sign of weakness or overreaction.

So if you're ready to tackle the messy truth about clutter and find a path to a more peaceful, organized space, tune in now!

      About Jada

Jada is a long term lover of living a bit and healthy life. She is a Mumma of 3 boys, owns a Latin dance studio with her husband where she taught for over 12 years, and up until a couple of year ago was the CEO and Marketing Manager for 9 years.

Her passion now lies in supporting women to live their fullest lives through The Rise & Shine Collective which currently focuses on guidance, support and training to instill the habit of rising early and optimising your morning routine to best support your days, life and big business goals.

The Rise & Shine Collective came about through those crazy COVD times when she felt a calling to share all I'd learnt about rising early and the way some of the most influential, history-making, business titans and creatives start their days to generate and protect their energy, attitude and edge.

Jada had struggled to instill the habit of early rising for almost two years, even though she knew in her soul it would change her life. And the missing ingredient, she felt, was Live accountability and support. So she decided to create it.

She now offers Live guided online Early Rising & Morning Mastery Programs for women who are go-getters wanting to use their mornings powerfully.

    • EP 56: Beyond the Panic Attacks. Lessons learned on the other side of anxiety
      Beyond the panic attacks.

When you're in the thick of anxiety, it can be hard to see another path through all of the anxious fog. If can be hard to imagine who you are and a "normal" life beyond the panic attacks and overwhelming all consuming thoughts. I know this so well because I lived there for years.

I have been open in the past (ep 1) about my journey with anxiety and I know that I will never be completely anxiety free (nor should anyone be, a little is healthy) however I truly do know that I am on the other side of that fog! Life feels different. I feel different.

Reflecting upon this the other day, it occurred to me that there were things that I am LOVING in my life now. Simple daily pleasures that I was starting to take for granted.. until I realised how much I actually missed these things whilst I was living in this anxiety state.

In today's episode, I am sharing this personal reflection with you and if you relate to any of this, I would love to hear from you.

Let's chat about how we can work together to help you not only see through that fog but come out the otherside and find yourself again outside of anxiety, stress and panic 💖

Protecting yourself when the stress seems in-escapable.

When stress is all around you, and out of your control it can feel like you are barely keeping your head above the water in a raging current.

I see too often, women saying that they will support themselves, or get help or "deal" with it once the issue has gone away however in so many cases, the stress doesn't go away only accumulates or shifts focus.

In today's episode, we'll be discussing how to protect yourself when stress seems inescapable. On-going situations that you cannot necessarily walk away from or avoid.

I will be sharing 3 strategies to help you not only keep your head above water, but begin to swim!
