Lenny and Tam from Lion City Ruckers join to talk about their ruck club. We get into what it’s like to start a ruck club in a country that doesn’t have any, what it’s like to run a non-USA ruck club, and what they have planned for the future. There are a lot of ruck clubs out there that are outside of the USA and it was great to talk to the Lion City Ruckers!

Garret (aka Cadre Machine) joins to talk about the upcoming GORUCK Constellation events for 2020. There’s a lot of changes in the works and it will be very exciting to see how the events come together.
This has been a very busy week for GORUCK so a huge thank you to Garret for taking the time out of his day to chat!

Cadre Flash has run over 240 events with GORUCK and will be running the 2019 Snowdrop event. I’m so glad that this event is living on and it was great having Flash on to talk about it!
I’ve been meaning to have him on for ages ever since I started the podcast and he made us get on trains in Seattle at a Tough.

Chad owns Capital MMA (Lorton) and has fairly recently started completed GORUCK events. We talk about the Star Course and HTL he finished and how Martial Arts helped him prepare for aspects of those events. We also get into what he could have done to be better prepared and the changes he made to have a better recovery time after the HTL than he did for the Star Course.
I had a great time with this interview and I always enjoy talking about Martial Arts. I hope you get a kick out of this interview and find some takeaways that will hopefully bring you success in your upcoming events!

Cadre Dan has run a number of D-Day GORUCK events over the past few years. In addition he LOVES history so he seemed like a great person to get on the podcast to talk about the 75th anniversary of D-Day. This probably will not be the last time you hear from Cadre Dan either
It’s always great chatting with Dan and I’m so glad we were able to make this episode work. I hope you enjoy the conversation and I’m a bit jealous I wasn’t there after talking with him.

Ryan’s first event was a GORUCK Light. After that he completed a second Light and then a Tough and Light. He never thought he’d be able to complete a GORUCK Heavy but here we are talking about his accomplishment.
There are a lot of people out there who are in a similar situation: completing GORUCK Light and Tough events but not sure if they can (or should) try a Heavy. Hopefully if you’re in that boat this will give you some level of confidence to give the Heavy a second look.

I always love stories of parents getting out there rucking and spending time with their kids. After talking with Yori about the GORUCK Monthly Rucking Challenges he has been completing with his 10 and 8 year old sons I knew he had to be on the show.. In this episode we discuss how to get kids involved in rucking and ways to make it more fun and enjoyable for them!
Many of these techniques can be used on friends who aren’t rucking as well! Most involve ways to decrease the barriers to entry, put more of the planning on your shoulders, and making rucking more fun. Obviously with friends you won’t be holding their hands the whole way BUT being a huge asset for their first few rucks can make the experience that much better.
