For thousands of years humanity has looked to the sky and natural weather patterns to find divine signs and messages from God. Dr. Laura Hartman, Professor in Environmental Studies at Roanoke College and a leader with Virginia Interfaith Power and Light, gathers with All Places Together to share her biblical and ecological wisdom to tell us how, even today, God can be speaking to us through the natural world--and that the words may well be a dire warning. In this second week of the Season of Creation, our focus turns to humanity, specifically how Christian humans are called to put serve creation. Pastor Meredith Harber joins us from Alaska and tells us stories about whales and how their well-being is so interconnected to human behavior.
