  • The Narrow Road
If you stopped to ask for directions what would your reaction be if the person responded saying it doesn’t matter because all roads will get you there. Common sense tells us that this is impossible yet this is the belief many have when it comes to God. When someone says “all roads lead to heaven” they are saying that all religious beliefs are equal and lead to the same end. But this does not adhere to Jesus’ teaching that there is a narrow gate and road. But what does this road look like? What are the markers that provide us as travelers the assurance that we are on the narrow road that Jesus calls us to walk? During this series we will identify the landmarks of the narrow road to build confidence that we have found and are walking in the direction that Jesus calls us to go.

  • #reallife – The Army of God
One of the enemy’s best strategies is to make the church forget that we are in a serious war. We neglect to see the church as an army serving the King. By doing so we can struggle to live in our victory and power as soldiers of Christ. But we are not an army of one but an army of many. Our fellowship is one of authority and together we are called to walk in it.

  • #reallife
Culture today often promotes a busy life that keeps us secluded from people. As Christians, we are not called to live in disconnected silos that occasionally connect but instead in real koinonia fellowship. This level of fellowship is when people intentionally strive to create a community that involves deep close-knit participation in one another’s lives. It is more than a surface-level, friendly relationship but full, intimate unity. It is the relationships that inwardly we long for but struggle to understand and create.

  • Exiles – Power of Humility
There is a lot that Peter packs into this short letter to believers. He ensures there is a strong foundation about who God is, who we are as His people and the truth of what it means to live as exiles in this world. As he concludes, Peter makes sure we know the most important attribute that holds everything together as exiles for Jesus…humility.
