What does your birth chart say about you? In our very special final episode of Season 1, Abby and Mona interview Astrologer and Artist Carley Jennings from lafifthhouse. Carley’s experience with astrology hasn’t been linear. From reading her horoscope in magazines as a teenager, to being a skeptic in college, to having a bad experience with it in adulthood. Carley began to quietly study astrology on her own and found a passion she eventually turned into a career during the pandemic. Carley explains astrology as a traditional practice that dates back thousands of years that combines math and language and shares the way she approaches chart reading. If you are curious about how astrology can aid in the healing process, you definitely don’t want to miss this!
Carley Jennings Bio:
Lafifthhouse began when Latinx astrologer Carley Jennings (she/her) decided to explore the stellium in her natal fifth house. In astrology, the fifth house of our birth chart helps us understand our creative experience. After 15 years of working closely with creatives in music, the exploration of her fifth house (while the planetary ruler of her fifth house (Mars) transited over her Midheaven) brought Carley's own creative reality to fruition. Carley lives in Los Angeles with her daughter and their adopted dog. For Carley, lafifthhouse is truly the union of art and astrology.
