Peter and Ross are joined by Greg Evans from Fastrack V8 Race Experience where you can become a v8 race car driver. The business started 18 years ago where Greg and his team of professional drivers aim to give you a v8 race car experience even for one morning. You get to drive with a professional race car driver sitting with you showing you the best racing lines on the track, teaching you when to best change gears, aiming for apex points in corners and race craft generally. You can find Fastrack V8 Race Experience at one of 7 tracks around Australia including the iconic Mount Panorama Circuit at Bathurst. We discuss the future of Australian touring car racing and Peter and Ross reveal to each other their recent additions to their fleet.

Peter and Halil are driving an AMG E63s, a big family car according to Halil. With an engine that sounds like a hornet's nest, Halil is determined to wake up the neighbourhood and we test all the suspension settings. We attempt to guess how much fuel was used and we learn that Mercedes still allow you to option their vehicles with the original hood ornament. Peter has permanently swapped vehicles with his wife and is now driving an AMG A35 sedan. Follow us on Instagram and email us [email protected]
Halil drives Peter's 1993 Porsche 968 Cabriolet - the last of the 1980's era Porsche. The 968 was the last iteration of the 924/944 model line and sold in very limited numbers during a world recession. The Porsche 968 Cabriolet cost three times the price of a suburban apartment in Sydney which probably explains why only 13 of them were sold over the 1992-1995 period it was available new from Porsche. There was also some chat about the current state of play in the new car market after Halil went to price up a BMW 340i X Drive and suffered from "sticker shock." Peter is joined by Tom The Roving Reporter where they talk about recovering three flood damaged cars. A debate escalates whether you should drink from a plastic bottle after it sits in your car. We try to answer a listener's question. We look at the development of the Holden VL Walkinshaw and why did they not repair the boat on Gilligan's Island when they managed to build everything else on the island? Follow us on Instagram and email us [email protected]
Peter and Halil look at owning an electric car. After the recent LIVE Drives with the electric cars from Tesla, BMW, Mercedes and Porsche - what is it like to own one? We look at the difference between the Charge Fox network compared to the Tesla charging network. Will today's electric car be obsolete in 10 years' time? To answer that we look at a 2012 Nissan Leaf. We discuss alternate fuels such as E85 and we listen to the recent drag race with Halil's HSV GTS-R. Follow us on Instagram and email us [email protected]
Peter Halil and Ross are joined by Captain Sideris in a LIVE Drive with Mercedes Benz all electric EQA 250. An impressive car from Mercedes Benz for the money being asked for one. Attempts were made to use a public charger which exposed a design issue when a left hand drive car is converted to right hand drive. We set off sentry mode at the nearby parked Tesla. Ross learns how to drive with one pedal using brake regeneration. We look at the cost of replacing batteries and are we ready to purchase electric as our next car.
