On this episode of the Allergic to Grace podcast we continue to see God's instructions for building the tabernacle. In chapters 28 and 29 God provides very specific instruction on what each priest is supposed to wear and how they will be distinguished between each other and the rest of Israel. This episode ends with the instructions for the consecration of the priests and how all of that process is to be performed. 

On this episode of the Allergic to Grace podcast we see the Israelite people quickly agree to entering into a covenant with God and the confirmation of that with a sacrifice by Moses and the people. Moses starts to recieve the instructions for building the tabernacle, God's dwelling place. In chapters 25-26 Moses receives the specifications for the Ark of the Covenant, the Table for Bread, the Golden Lampstand, and finally the Tabernacle itself. 

On this episode of the Allergic to Grace Podcast we see God giving laws about a wide plethora of things. Including promoting justice, kindness, the three feasts, sacrifice, the promise of God's presence and the promise that God will take care of those Israelite people who are obedient to his laws.  

On this episode of the Allergic to Grace Podcast we see Moses getting the advice that he desperately needs from his father-in-law regarding the delegation of judgement for the people of Israel. We see the Israelites finally arrive at Mount Sinai. At the end of these 3 chapters, we see God give Moses and the Israelite people the Ten Commandments and some additional laws about alters, and the importance of their humbleness. 

On this episode of the Allergic to Grace podcast we see the Israelites praise God for bringing them out of Egypt and for perishing the Egyptians in the Red Sea. We continue to see God provide for His people, despite their shortcomings by providing for their basic needs when they could not. At the end of this episode, we meet Joshua for the first time and see Israel take on their first battle. A physical battle for the army of Israel but a prayerful battle for Moses, Aaron, and Hur. On this episode of the Allergic to Grace podcast we see the institution of the Passover and the importance of it and the importance of the instructions given by God Himself. We see the tenth plague carried out the "death of the first born". The Israelites are finally freed, and the Exodus happens! We see God's presence manifested on earth in front of the Israelites throughout their ENTIRE journey. In the end, we see God triumph by splitting the Red Sea and drowning the Egyptians. 

On this episode of the Allergic to grace podcase we see the next 5 plagues hit Egypt, HARD. These included all the livestock dying, hail, boils, locusts, and darkness. God had clearly set His people apart from the Egyptians as these plagues did not affect them. At the end of this episode, we see God threatening a final plague. The death of all the firstborn of Egypt. 

On this episode of the Allergic to Grace Podcast we see God promising deliverance to the Israelite people. We see Moses and Aaron's genealogy, telling us the future. Moses and Aaron approach Pharoah again and are denied freedom. In return, God turns Egypt's water into blood with the first of 10 plagues. After the denial of freedom again, God brings swarms of frogs into Egypt. The third plague comes without warning which is millions of gnats afflict the Egyptians. This episode ends with the fourth plague, which is flies, except this time the Israelite people are set apart and not affected by this plague.

On this episode of the Allergic to Grace Podcast we see Moses encounter God and recieved mission from him. God gives Moses powerful signs to show that He is the one who sent him. Moses complains A LOT but finally returns to Egypt and tells the Israelites what God told him. In this episode we see Moses go to Pharoah for the first time to ask for freedom, which ends badly making life harder for the Israelite people.
