Why is it that so many Marriages suffer from a lack of intimacy?
Often times it’s the case that the man is always ready to go, but the wife is just not interested all the time.
Or worse, the wife will start to use sex as a reward or punishment tool.
Causing the husband to try to score brownie points by doing the dishes or bathing the kids just so he gets a shot at getting lucky at night.
Well on this episode, we’re gonna talk about why this is not the way you should go about this as a family leader.
If you want your wife to want you and want to have more sex with you, we’re gonna discuss some tactical things you can do to make that possible.
On this episode, I got to interview a man named John Michael Clark who runs a Christian men’s coaching business called The Family Captain.
Where he helps them become confident family leaders that can bring more frequency and passion to the marriage bed.
If you’ve been struggling at all in getting your wife to wanna be more intimate, John Michael shares some of his best tips for how to improve this in your own marriage.
Stick around until the end because one of the last tips he shares is one he reserves for his high ticket coaching clients and he was generous enough to share it with us here. You’re not gonna wanna miss this conversation.

On this episode, I had the honor and privilege of interviewing a multi-millionaire family man who has impacted the lives of many people through all of the many products and services he’s develop over the years, Dan Henry.
Dan is the owner of GetClients.com, a company that specializes in teaching people how to build successful online businesses.
He is the author of the Wall Street Journal Best Seller “Digital Millionaire Secrets.” A renowned speaker who has shared stages with men like Tony Robbins, Russell Brunson, Myron Golden and many more.
Dan is also a popular YouTuber who has a channel where he shares some of his best insights when it comes to business and marketing.
Currently, he runs an online community called Get Clients University where he shares literally some of the best online business tactics and strategies out there.
His no nonsense, brutally honest approach makes him a standout in the online entrepreneur world. It’s one of the biggest things I appreciate about him.
But given all of his accomplishments, Dan hasn’t had it easy by any stretch.
He lost the most important thing in his life while pursuing all of these goals, and that was his family.
And on this episode we dive in to how that happened and what it took for him to get his family back and return to the world of entrepreneurship a much stronger, family leader.

Have you ever felt powerless as a man?
There’s been many instances in my life where I’ve felt powerless.
Like when my first son was being born and the doctors rushed in because they were losing his heart beat and they couldn’t get him out.
All at the same time watching my wife scream in excruciating pain that I couldn’t take away.
And even though that moment in time was hard, I at least got to be there and see my son be born.
But what if you never got a shot to even get to the delivery room?
What if you got your girlfriend pregnant and even though it was a surprise, you were excited about being a father.
But she decided that she didn’t want the child and no matter how much you pleaded with her.
No matter how much you told her that you would take the baby if she didn’t want it.
She decided to get rid of the baby without ever considering you, she and society at large rendered you powerless.
What do you do as a man in that scenario?
That’s what we’re gonna find out today.
On this episode, I had the honor and privilege of interviewing another fellow Apogee Brother, Sean Corcoran.
Sean has an incredible story from falling into a deep depression that resulted in him going down a 7 year path of self destruction. He ended up homeless and addicted to one of the hardest drugs out there to break free from. After his incredible recovery from that world, he went back to law school and had a successful career as a divorce and custody attorney. Only to find that his success as a lawyer was causing him to be absent as a husband and father to his 5 kids. So in 2021 he closed up shop and stopped taking clients in order to be more present at home.
He now has a growing Podcast called “The Father’s Calling” where he’s interviewing men with incredible stories who are living out their God given purpose. Sean truly is an amazing man who wants to use his story and experiences to help other family men avoid the pitfalls he fell into so that they can be the best version of themselves for their family.
Please enjoy our conversation as we explore his story and extract the lessons from Sean’s life that can help us become better leaders for our own family.

What does it take for a family man to be willing to change?
Must we always hit rock bottom before we wake up to the need for us to be better.
We convince ourselves that we’re doing right by our family just because we’re putting food on the table and a roof over their heads.
And we demand that our kids do better than us and not cave into vices, while we indulge in our own.
Many men end up waking up too late, after the wife decides to pack up and leave with the kids.
And that’s where the family breaks apart and remains broken.
We don’t all get second chances to change for the better and save our families, but the men that do, have a unique opportunity to level up in ways that you can’t imagine and earn back that love, respect, and connection they seek from their wife and kids.
In today’s episode, I had the honor of interviewing Richard Macias.
Richard is a Men’s Fitness Coach who helps men level up in their mindset, nutrition and fitness. He runs a business called Warpath Fitness where he helps his clients undergo incredible transformations as he himself went through in his own life. Going from being consumed by bad habits and vices from an early age that almost caused him to lose his family twice, he found the change he was looking for through Discipline in his fitness and nutrition. He became a family leader worthy of being followed and earned back the love, respect, and connection he was seeking from his wife and kids.
Please enjoy our conversation as we dive into Richard’s incredible comeback story.

What happens to most men when they go through a rough time in their marriage?
The honey moon phase is nice, but it fades and turns into something better or worse depending on how you pour into that marriage.
Most men will collapse under the weight of that pressure you feel when things get rocky.
They’ll seek out a vice to numb the pain, instead of dealing with the issues at hand.
They become reactive instead of responsive and end up suffering a separation or divorce as a result.
So the question is how do we come back from this as family men? Or is it too late to save your marriage once you hit a breaking point?
In today’s episode, I had the honor and privilege of interviewing a fellow Apogee brother, George Hayworth.
George served in the Army as a Field Artillery Officer for 4.5 years and is now currently serving in the Army National Guard. On top of that he’s worked as a salesman for Technology companies and is now an account manager for key Aerospace and Defense clients.
But more importantly, George is a family man who is fully devoted to his wife, his daughter and God. He and his long time friends run a popular dad podcast called The Present Father’s Podcast. Where they’ve interviewed a number of good, solid men like Nick Freitas, Nick Koumalatsos, and Matt Beaudreau who I’ve had on this show.
George has learned a lot over the years about what it takes to overcome failure and also what it takes to come back from a marriage on the brink of divorce.
Please enjoy our conversation as we dive into his epic comeback story. You’re not gonna wanna miss this.

If you’re a Christian Family Man, why does it seem sometimes like church is failing you?
The challenges we face as family leaders can feel overwhelming. You gotta pour into your kids, pour into your marriage, protect, provide and make decisions that build up your family.
It’s not an easy thing to do. And when you’re trying to walk a Christ centered path, it adds even more pressure.
So the question is, how do we manage this pressure? And who should we entrust with helping us to lead our families effectively?
In today’s episode, I had the honor and privilege of interviewing my good friend/brother, Bryan Hunt.
Bryan is a Texas based Americana Singer/Songwriter who blends honest lyrics with a raw sound. He spent ten years focusing on the development of his songwriting. During this time, he chose not to play, learn, or sing music by other artists. This approach allowed Bryan to grow organically as a musician and to develop an individual style and sound.
Bryan coproduced his debut album called Headed Out West and his sophomore album The American Dream which was recently released with Texas Country Legend, Phil Pritchett. And to top it off, he is also a U.S. Army Combat Veteran who served proudly for this country.
He’s done some incredible things, but none of his accomplishments come close to the one that he’s most proud of which is being a devoted Christian Family Man. This is one of the biggest reasons I wanted to bring him on the show. Bryan is a family leader through and through and I’ve witnessed firsthand how he serves and pours into his family.
Please enjoy our conversation as he shares some of his insights surrounding family leadership, the state of the church and how it deals with us as men, music and much more. You’re not gonna wanna miss this.

If you’re a dad, let me ask you this, how difficult is it to see your life plans go out the window?
Like, maybe before you became a husband and father, you had plans of what you were gonna accomplish in life.
That infamous question we get as kids, “what do you wanna be when you grow up?”
Some of us were so sure we wanted to be a in a specific profession and then we get there and something happens that completely throws out plans out the window.
I used to be a Christian Hip Hop Rapper and those plans I had of making a career out of that went out the window for me.
And even though it can be soul crushing to have your dreams fade, there’s always a light at the end of that dark tunnel that leads us to something better.
In today’s episode, I had the honor of interviewing Jason Herrick.
Jason grew up playing soccer and was well on his way to a professional career in the sport. He played for the University of Maryland and was also an ACC and National Champion. But everything changed after playing his first professional game where he was forced into medical retirement due to a head injury.
That event changed the course of Jason’s life forever as he had to wrestle with the medical system for 10 years to figure out what was wrong with him, until he figured out how to heal himself. Throughout that journey, Jason became a soccer coach helping out a number of young heroes that crossed his path.
He gave his life to Christ and became a believer. And most recently Jason has become a children’s book author, writing his first story called “My Jesus Song’ that originated as a story he would tell his 2 boys. He’s actually launching a series of books, with the second one in the works as we speak.
Please enjoy my conversation with Jason Herrick as we dive into his story and find out more about how he shifted his mindset and purpose even after losing all of the plans he had of going pro. You won’t wanna miss this.

What does it take to be an Epic Dad?
Meaning a family man that has everything from his fitness, marriage, and his relationship with his kids all dialed in.
On top of that, he continually works on leveling himself up, physically, financially, mentally and spiritually.
It is ultimately, what many of us family men want to become, but few will actually do the work that’s required to get there.
In today’s episode, I had the honor and privilege of interviewing my fellow Apogee brother, Drew Camp.
Drew is a combat veteran who founded The Epic Dad Company or TEDCO for short. Initially a natural supplements company, however it has grown into a movement that helps Dads become better athletes, leaders, and providers. TEDCO not only provides you as a dad with your pre-workout needs, but also offers a strong community and coaching programs aimed at helping dads level up in all areas of life.
Drew and I initially connected through our Apogee Strong brotherhood and I reached out to him to get help on Podcasting as he runs a popular podcast called The Epic Dad Legacy Podcast. I recently had the honor to be a guest on his show.
Please enjoy my conversation with Drew Camp as we dive into different aspects of family leadership and he shares with us the formula on how to become an Epic Dad. You’re not gonna wanna miss this.
