At some point or another we've all been lost. Maybe by our own doing or by circumstances not in our control. When we realize we're lost, often we try and come up with a solution so we can re-enter the flock. The thing is, God is always ready for us to come back to him. We hope this episode speaks to you if you're in that place, that far country. We pray that it also reminds you to celebrate those who've come back to the fold.

What does freedom cost? Certainly it's a sacrifice. As an American we can understand that and as a Christian we can live it out daily. Today as you celebrate Memorial Day we encourage you to ask yourself, 'What am I doing with my freedom?' Are you doing whatever you want or are you aligning with God's will. We had the opportunity to sit down and talk with the head principal of the new high school in Christian County that will be opening this fall. It's not small undertaking, but we serve a significantly bigger God. Ken hails from Muhlenberg County, has been in education for over 20 years, and serves his family. We need to be rooted in our faith so that when unexpected things happen (which are to be expected) we can rely on our creator, what he's coached us through with Jesus, and how we can influence others in it. Evan Ryan of Hopkinsville, KY is a worker for the Lord. He leads the minddle school ministry at New Work Fellowship and is involved with Fellowship of Christian Athletes. If you don't know Evan personally, you've probably seen him. If you've been to any sporting events in the last couple of years in hoptown there's a good chance you've seen Evan there. He understands what it means to show up and he does it all the time. In this episode he says "Our ministry is only going to be as effective as the relationships we have." We couldn't agree more. It's crazy that this marks the 50th episode of the podcast! We've been blessed to have some wonderful conversations with some awesome people to talk about faith and how it's important in their lives. If we'd never said yes to having this podcast, it never would have happened! Saying yes to things can be difficult for several reasons. Maybe you're too busy, maybe you're afraid of what you're saying yes to, maybe you're comfortable where you find yourself and saying yes would mess that up. We get it. BUT saying yes to God centered things are still worth saying yes to. Maybe our time needs to be re-prioritized. Remember that we aren't given a spirit of fear. God didn't call us to be comfortable. Say yes to what God has put in front of you. You won't regret the change it will make in your life!
