Tom has been in broadcasting since 1979; that's quite a bit of time to be able to talk, write, and interview folks and live as an example of Christ. He's a hard worker at Southside and a great encourager. We hope our conversation about influence and the platforms we all have help you Altar Your Algorithm!
Starting over can be difficult, but it can be necessary. Every day we sort of reset when we wake up and start our day. In doing so we can set the tone for how we are going to walk with Christ. Perhaps it's not a daily reset, but a full on factory reset, give your life to Christ, kind of transformation that needs to happen. Well, today is as good as any day to begin that transformation and walk with Jesus. We hope you consider to Altar Your Algorithm and walk with Him daily.
Prayer is one of the most powerful tools in the tool belt of a Jesus-follower. Are you using it? Are you unsure of what to say? Are you bringing everything to God? These are questions we ask and address in this episode with Vivian McClellan. She's part of the Prayer Clinic at Greenwood Park Church of Christ and a hope-bringer to the people she interacts with at the med center in Bowling Green. We hope this episode is encouraging and provides you with some ideas on how you can better your prayer life.
Becoming a new coach at the biggest high schoool in the state? Will Bryan welcomes the new challenge confidently as he walks with God. A recent graduate of Lipscomb University, this former collegiate soccer player tells us what it was like to get the call, accept the position, and how he plans on winning (it's not just about winning soccer games, but winning in our walk with Christ). We hope you enjoy this episode!
In our final episode of the Chainbreakers series and the first episode of 2026 we challenge our listeners to walk with Jesus boldly and in newness! He has removed the chains, something that would have been impossible otherwise. We owe our lives to him, so let's walk as a new creation in his name.
We hope this episode of Altar Your Algorithm is encouraging. If you have any questions you can find us on Facebook or email us at [email protected].
It's the last episode of 2025! We've enjoyed this eyar with all our listeners and we look forward to the next year. Tim joined us today to talk about the year in review and how we can prepare for the new year. We hope this episode is encouraging. What are you going to copy, cut and change this upcoming year?

Before we recorded this one, Tommy said that he wasn't much of a talker. I'm glad we got him on this episode because what he talked about was good. A dad of two, a husband, a hard worker, and most importantly a servant of the Lord, Tommy seeks fellowship and shares why he thinks it's so important. His posture towards Christ certainly helps him altar his algorithm.
Coach of Henderson County boys soccer team, Benson Pryor joins the podcast for a discussion on what to do in the offseason. Is there a spiritual offseason? How can we prepare? It's okay to go through tough times, because often God makes himself best known in those times. We hope you enjoy this episode!
This week is a continuation of the Chain Breakers series. There will be two more episodes in this series hopefully releasing on the first Monday of January and February. We hope you've had a great Thanksgiving and are breaking through some chains!
