She has been a board-certified music therapist since 2004 and runs a private music therapy practice in Kansas City, where her team serves older adults in senior living and hospice. Judy began working with her brother, Michael Shmerling and his team in 2006, to develop Abe’s Garden in memory of their father, Abram Shmerling.
