We explain what you can expect from Wrong Questions Only: the only "culture war" podcast that's actually politically non-binary. Season 1 covers gender. Authentic, unfettered conversations had with love and respect are the only way we're going to get anywhere so we can stop arguing over the juicy, divisive issues and finally start organizing a world that isn't a big destructive game of Monopoly almost all of us detest.
I'm Arielle Isaac Norman, comedian and podcaster, androgynous, polyamorous ex-Mormon Texan, here to ask all the "wrong" questions for you. On season 1, among other aspects of diversity, I'll talk to people who are trans, cis or not trans, gay, straight, bi, pan, detrans, non-binary and more. Join me to find out how much we already agree with each other and how much common ground we can gain through empathetic and vulnerable discussions. Everyone says we all need to sit down face to face and talk it out, so let's do it.

Lisa Selin Davis and Arielle zoomed it up in November 2020 to talk about Lisa's book Tomboy: The Surprising History and Future of Girls Who Dare to be Different, which you can preview via LSD's NYT article.
Having both grown up on the tomboy spectrum - and Lisa now parenting a tomboy type - Lisa and Arielle had a very expansive discussion regarding the concept of tomboyism and how it fits into today's cultural conversation around sex, gender and sexuality.

Zaeli and Arielle discuss Joe Rogan’s move to Austin and the state of standup here and in general, some of the downsides of atheism, a reflection on grace, the Irish language, and the satellite dish vulva.

Bonus Episode:
My most recent ex-wife and her gf (or personfriend - they a non-b now) came over to sit on the back porch and chat. I left the mic on, so enjoy this clip about dental damming, the nature of period blood, and what the deal is with female sexual pleasure.
Bonus bonus clip at the end:
My gf joined us and talked about covidified holidays and some van lyfe stuff. She had no idea there was a microphone on.

They discussed Bryan Callen, Chris D'Elia, dating in the post-sexual revolution/post-understood-sexual-mores world and our need to renegotiate norms, Louis CK, Bill Cosby, Aziz Ansari, women's part in the problems, and more. If you don't hear any of those topics in this episode or any more you think they ought to have talked about, they probably did on the full length episode, available on the MAGAA Patreon.
Author's Note: Due to a little miscommunication, the intro is a bit confusing because this is not yet in the style of a moderated disagreement between two people but rather a conversation between Arielle and her friend and fellow comedian Craig Fergola about the nature of the sexual scandals that have come to light in the last few years in the standup world, both on the national scene and in Austin.
