Note from Arielle: Sometimes when I discuss the possibility of falling in love with, dating, or having sex with anyone with a penis, I refer to "men." I didn't mean to be calling trans women "men," I just spend a weird amount of time thinking about whether I could have sex with men ever, as well as some time thinking about whether I could have sex with trans women, ever. And the penis is the most obvious stumbling block, so when I'm imagining a dick, my mind defaults to thinking of it as attached to men. I know this is cis-normative and insensitive, and I apologize for my sloppy thinking and speaking in those moments.

I sat down with my most recent ex-wife, Katie, to discuss dating someone who goes non-binary after you're already in love.
Katie's a woman, born in '85, is from a small town in Texas (a 5th generation Texan!), was raised Baptist, and is attracted to gender non-conforming afabs.
In this first half of our convo, we discussed:
codependency vs narcissism
non-binary astrology
Matthew McConaughey
the term "2 spirit"
cultural appropriation
cancel culture
testosterone
and more
Content Warning: mouth sounds some people find asmr-ish, others find nightmarish. It's only occasional.

for that bonus clip and more, and/or just to support the mission,
the mission being to help foster an environment in which we can all have frank discussions about controversial topics without being so cancel-ly and divisive about everything.
also, we love famous people, but we hear a lot from them already, so on wqo, we're also sharing perspectives from people you'd otherwise never hear from.
Nemo shared this link with me to share with y'all re the sports question. He couldn't find the original video he wants, but this should do:

Here's a link that I find useful to the discussion:

Comedian and straight black dude Andre Ricks is asked questions about his sexuality and how he conceives of treating women versus men by Arielle.
Editor's Note: Whoopsi-doodle, I thought we were going to split the Andre episode into two parts, but we wound up putting it all into one. It was a whole thing to get this episode put together, so I wanted to put it out, imperfect as it is.
