  • 7. OCD: peas get lonely too

I feel like OCD's really having its moment right now, so I thought why not get involved?? I've been holding my breath next to trees and only eating circular food in pairs for DECADES (literally xo).

I'd love to say this episode will comfort anyone with OCD but I'm not sure it will - it might entertain you though, or possibly make you realise that you're not the only one with f*cked up thoughts that are completely irrational. If you'd like to listen to a long list of all the weird and wonderful things my OCD has made me do, jump aboard, if not, honestly no offence taken.

  • 6. friendship red flags

this episode's mainly for the girls - or is it? I'm not sure... I get the feeling that some of us stand for less than we deserve in friendships, or sometimes get pulled into friendship groups where we think certain treatment is fine when it isn't.

Just because something's 'normal' doesn't mean it's okay. And if anyone ever tells you 'you're being too sensitive' or 'get over it' this is your reminder that your feelings are valid and friends who make you feel shitty in any way don't deserve a place at your metaphorical table xxxxxxx P.S. don't be a pushover

  • 5. love is overrated

hey b*tches & happy day of luuuurve - this episode's for everyone out there who thinks their life won't get good until they've got romance in it. I'm not really a Valentine's Day scrooge, and I don't actually think love is overrated, I just think sometimes we put too much pressure on romantic love when life is so good without it - love can be found everywhere, and I can PROMISE you that the good good love that you want won't come until you truly love yourself properly & know your worth.

I love love - truly I do, and I love being in love. But I also love the love I find through my friends, through my family, through strangers I meet on the street, through dogs and cats, and animals I see when I go to Hackney City Farm (lol). Most importantly I love the love I give to and get from myself - the relationship I have with myself is what's got me to where I am, and there is NOTHING better than me, myself and I and our little love-filled, self-loving world.

I've said 'love' way too many times now.

Live life like you're your own romantic partner, and the romance you want will find you. Kisses xxxxxxx

  • 4. anxiety's my comfort zone

I've realised recently that my resting state is generally one of anxiety, and when I'm not worried about something I find something to be worried about - I think in this society we forget how to just be happy - we're too scared to let go in case something bad happens. But what's gained from worrying about something that probably won't happen? Nothing, obviously, but it's so ingrained in us to do it.

What you're comfortable in isn't necessarily a good thing, but it can be - it's more like a habit that you've got used to... maybe like a not-so-clean blanket that you love sleeping with or a cup of tea you have every night - but in a less physical, more theoretical / habitual way. It can include emotional states, response mechanisms and just ways you live your life - this is taken purely from personal experience but I think it makes sense ?? xoxoxo

  • 3. hello Edie

TW: eating disorders !!! Guys, please take this TW seriously if you think you're going to get triggered by this - I'm speaking very directly and openly about experiencing an ED and disordered thoughts. Of course I'm not in any way trying to encourage it, I want to help anyone who's experiencing the same thing / make people feel less alone / advise on how to get out of feeling like this. But at points it's quite graphic, please bear this in mind before listening!

I didn't really think about the fact that I was releasing this on 1st December... so Christmassy of me xo but HAPPY 1ST DECEMBER !!!

Love you SO much. Thank you for being here !!!

P.S. the title is a play on ED (eating disorder). Yes, I'm funny.

  • 2. therapy chronicles

today we're discussing all the therapists I've ever had - including horror stories, love stories, and being told I'm not thin enough to have an eating disorder xo

I hope this makes anyone who's had a bad therapy experience feel better, and anyone who's thinking about seeing a therapist go and do it. Love you!!!
