John Sherwin attended the grand opening for Faribault's newest park and is looking forward to it's completion next year. He also reminds people Winter Fest on December 6, 2025 will have fireworks and other events there. The parade route is reversed this year and there will be NO PARKING along Central Avenue during the parade.

Randy Twiehoff, Mel Sanbord, and Kirk Mansfield with the Rice County Salvation Army Unit reveal details about the kickoff concert in Faribault. THe event at Trinity Lutheran Church in Faribault features a pie auction and Basket Raffle. The fun is from 2 to 4 in the afternoon and features Old Country Brothers Geg and Jeff Sartor playing music. The Red Kettle Campaign goal is $100,000 which is needed as evidenced by the past couple years all the money raised has been spent.
