How to Use Email ?Email has become the premier way to communicate in the computer era. If you're not hooked up to email, you may never hear from anyone you know. Email is a little more complicated than sending a letter in the mail, but it's the same idea. You'll be on your way to sending letters via your computer in no time. Step 1 Open up your internet browser and pick an email program to use. The big ones are Gmail, Yahoo! and MSN Hotmail. Go to one of these websites and sign up for an email account. This usually involves picking a personal email address, choosing a password and entering some other information like your name or zip code. Step 2 Gather email addresses of people you know and put them in your contacts list. Each email program should have a "Contacts" section, so click on that and start typing in email addresses. Having all your contacts in your email account will make it easier to write emails later--you won't have to manually type in the person's email address every time! Step 3 To start using email, sign in with your email address and password from your email program's website. You can go to each email program's home page and then click "Email" or save the email sign-in webpage to your bookmarks. Once you've signed in, you'll see your inbox. This is where you'll see emails that people send you. Step 4 To write an email, click the "Compose Mail" or "Write an Email" link. You'll see a page with a bunch of empty boxes on it. In the first box "To:" you'll put the person's email address you're sending the email to. Then choose a subject, and finally, write your email in the big box. When you're done, click send. Step 5 You might want to send a mass email to all your contacts letting them know of your new email address. Each email program is slightly different in sending emails to multiple people. There should be a link to your contacts near the "To" box (Yahoo has a link called "Insert addresses.") You'll check a box next to each contact's name to add them to an email. Step 6 In order to read emails that are sent to you, all you have to do is click on the email subject. If you want to send an email you received to someone else, this function is called "Forward." All you have to do is click the "Forward" button for most email programs and then click "Send." Step 7 You'll also see a "Trash" link in your email inbox. This is where you can put emails that you don't want to look at anymore. It's like the Trash option on your computer where you can delete files. Personal Report of Communication Apprehension (PRCA-24)    The PRCA-24 is the instrument which is most widely used to measure communication apprehension. It is preferable above all earlier versions of the instrument (PRCA, PRCA10, PRCA-24B, etc.). It is highly reliable (alpha regularly >.90) and has very high predictive validity. It permits one to obtain sub-scores on the contexts of public speaking, dyadic interaction, small groups, and large groups. However, these scores are substantially less reliable than the total PRCA-24 scores-because of the reduced number of items. People interested only in public speaking anxiety should consider using the PRPSA rather than the public speaking sub-score drawn from the PRCA-24. What is communication hack,s? to me and ask, "Marcel, what's the secret toAfter studying their faces for a brief moment, the usual response leaves some perplexed: It's not only a learned skill, this is taking The people that experience breakthroughs in the game of listening-and-speaking, will "park" all their thoughts, remove the internal clutter and noise from their heads, and engage the other person with complete, distraction-free, attention. Here are five ways to be emotionally present so you can have spectacular conversations that lead to amazing breakthroughs. 1. Be present by listening intently first. Effective communication isn't just about talking; great communicators listen intuitively to the other person's story, asking questions, and searching conversations for depth, meaning and understanding with their needs in mind. Great communicators are present and in the moment. They don't need to talk over others to get their point across. To quote Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen's CEO, The biggest distinction of a leader who serves others versus themselves is the ability to listen. When you listen, you hear peoples' objections, anxieties, and fears -- and you also hear the solutions. 2. Be present by being real with your feelings. Being real and present with your feelings will show up in statements like, "I'm really not sure where to go with this, what would you do in my situation?" or "I need some help here." Getting it out in the open creates a space for authenticity and truth. That's what we, as leaders, should model and replicate inside our organizations. If you're in a management role, being real and emotionally honest gives your team members permission to do the same. You will experience more connection and more honest conversations as a result. 3. Be present with the intent of developing trust. This means that when you communicate, your intent is to put the focus on the other person. Obviously this can only happen if you apply the first point on this list in establishing rapport right off the bat. You're going to notice that, when you do, other people feel safe in your presence, and you gain influence. This is not a pathway to manipulating future conversations. Your intent to developing trust by being more present and aware of other people's thoughts and feelings must come from the heart. It is a genuine expression of your desire to give and serve others. 4. Be present by speaking "in the positive." Take clues from your colleagues known for being positive and happy. Have you paid attention to how they speak? Most of them, you'll note, refrain from negative words, speech, or conversational topics because they know the stressful effects it has on their emotional well-being. They stay away from unnecessary drama, and psychological warfare. Helpful tip: When you're present and "in the positive," offer the other person helpful feedback that empowers and lifts up. I'll go back to influence--doing so will inspire greatness in others, build trust, and generate happiness in your own life. 5. Be present with your body language. What I should have done is placed this at the top of the list. Why? Because nonverbal communication is the fast track to putting people at ease and developing trust. Here are the best techniques for showing up with your body language: Smile with your eyes. People can see through fake smiles. Smiling with your eyes is warm and communicates to others two things: You're a safe person, and others can be open with you. Match your body language with your message. This simple adjustment will do wonders for you and register positively with the other person. ###একটা গল্প দিয়ে শেষ করি । রুনি আর টুনি একই ক্লাসে পড়ে । রুনি সব সময় টুনির সাথে খুব দুর্ব্যবহার করে । ওকে অনেক খারাপ কথা শােনায় । টুনি তাই । রুনিকে একদম দেখতে পারে না । টুনি ভাবে কীভাবে রুনিকে শান্তি দেওয়া যায় । কোনাে উপায় না পেয়ে টুনি রুনিকে মনে মনে শান্তি দিতে থাকে । টুনি ওর মনের ভেতর একটা অন্ধকার কৃপ তৈরি করে । আর সেই কূপের মধ্যে রুনিকে ফেলে দেয় । সেখানে অনাহারে বাস করতে থাকে রুনি । এই ভেবে টুনি মনে মনে শান্তি পায় । কিন্তু যখন সামনাসামনি রুনির সাথে দেখা হয় , টুনি দেখে রুনি বেশ ভালােই আছে । মহা আনন্দে ঘুরে বেড়াচ্ছে । টুনির বেশ রাগ হয় । টুনি ওর মনের কূপের ভেতরে থাকা রুনিকে আরও কষ্ট দিতে থাকে । এভাবে প্রতিদিন ওর রুনির সাথে দেখা হয় আর ও মনের ভেতর রুনিকে শাস্তি দিতে থাকে । একদিন টুনি ভাবে , কূপের নিচে গিয়ে দেখে আসবে বদ রুনি কতটা কষ্ট পাচ্ছে । টুনি কূপের গভীরে একটা টর্চ মেরে দেখে , এ কী ! রুনি কোথায় ? এ তাে টুনি নিজেই । এত দিন তাহলে এই কূপের মধ্যে টুনি নিজেকেই কষ্ট দিয়েছে ? রাগ বা অভিমান ঠিক এ রকম একটা কূপের মতাে । যারা আমাদের নানা রকম কটু কথা বলে , তাদের আমরা আমাদের রাগ ' - এর । কূপের মধ্যে ফেলে দিতে চাই । আমরা তাদের জন্য মনের মধ্যে রাগ পুষতে থাকি । #Loke ki Bolbe? সায়েন্স পড়ে আবার বিবিএ পড়ে নাকি কেউ ? আরিফ আর হােসাইন , Chief Evangelist , টেন মিনিট স্কুল স্কুলে ক্লাস এইটের আগের সময়গুলাে কিছুটা টর্চার সেলের মতো । ছেলে সায়েন্স পাবে নাকি আর্টস পাবে ... এটা নিয়ে মােটামুটি বাসার সবার নাওয়াখাওয়া বন্ধ । আমার নিজেরও মনে আছে আমি যদি সায়েন্স না পাই তাহলে আমার মরে যাওয়া ভালােটাইপ একটা ফিল আমি ফ্যামিলি থেকে পেয়েছিলাম । অথচ আমাকে কেউই জিজ্ঞেস করেনি আমার কী পড়তে ভালাে লাগে । আমি নিশ্চিত এ রকম বাস্তবতার সম্মুখীন কম - বেশি আমরা সবাই হয়েছি ... এবং এখনাে হচ্ছি । আসলে আমাদের বাবা - মায়ের প্রজন্মের মাথায় ঢুকেই গিয়েছিল যে বড় কিছু হওয়া মানে ডাক্তার - ইঞ্জিনিয়ার হওয়া ... এর বাইরে কিছু । আর ডাক্তার - ইঞ্জিনিয়ার হতে হলে সায়েন্স তাে নেওয়াই লাগবে । অথচ যে ছেলেটা শিল্পকলায় পড়তে চায় বা যুক্তিবিদ্যায় পড়তে চায় বা সমাজবিজ্ঞানে বা অর্থনীতিতে , তাকেও এই প্রেশার ফিল্টারের মাঝ দিয়ে যেতে হয় । ফলাফল , তখন আমরা আর আমরা থাকি না । এবং তার ফলে আজকে আশপাশে তাকালেই প্যাশন আর প্রফেশন এক না এ রকম ভুরি ভুরি ছেলে আশপাশে পাওয়া যাবে । এর একমাত্র কারণ আমাদের সিস্টেম ... আমাদের সমাজব্যবস্থা । #Loke ki Bolbe? প্রযুক্তি অনেক সামনে এগিয়ে গেছে । কিন্তু একই সাথে আরও অনেক সমস্যা নতুন করে তৈরি হয়েছে যেগুলাে আমাদের আগের প্রজন্মের মানুষকে সহ্য করতে হয়নি । যেমন— ১. আমাদের প্রজন্মে হঠাৎ করে জনসংখ্যা অনেক বেড়ে গেছে । আগের প্রজন্ম যেখানে খােলা খেলার মাঠ পেয়েছে সেখানে শুধু দালান আর দালান । রাস্তায় পা ফেলার জায়গা নেই আমাদের জন্য । ২. আমাদের প্রজন্ম অকল্পনীয় প্রতিযোগিতার মধ্যে বড় হচ্ছে । শিক্ষা , চাকরি থেকে শুরু করে যেকোনো সুযােগের জন্য হাজার হাজার মানুষের সাথে প্রতিযােগিতা করতে হচ্ছে । ৩. পরিবেশগতভাবে আমরা মানব ইতিহাসের সবচেয়ে খারাপ অবস্থানে আছি । আমাদের বাতাস , পানি , মাটি সবই দূষিত । পৃথিবীতে আদৌ মানুষের বসবাস কতটা স্থায়ী হবে তা নিয়েই প্রশ্ন উঠছে এখন । বিশ্বজুড়ে ভয়াবহ সব প্রাকৃতিক দুর্যোগ হচ্ছে । এই পরিবেশ আমাদের স্বাস্থ্য ও জীবনযাপনকে ভীষণ রকম প্রভাবিত করছে । ৪. অপরাধের পরিমাণ বেড়েছে । চুরি , ডাকাতি , খুন , ধর্ষণ এসবের ভয়ে দিন কাটাতে হচ্ছে । এগুলােও আগে এত বেশি ছিল না । ৫. এই ওপরের জিনিসগুলাের কারণে আমাদের মানসিক স্বাস্থ্যের অবস্থাও খুব একটা ভালাে যাচ্ছে না । আমাদের আশপাশের এত সব সমস্যা আমরা সব সময় গুছিয়ে বলতে পারি না । তাই হয়তাে মনে হতে পারে , আমরা আসলে । অনেক আরামে আছি । আসলে আমাদের প্রত্যেকের জীবনেই কোনাে কোনাে সংগ্রাম চলছে । আমাদের আগের প্রজন্ম আমাদের সেই সংগ্রামের প্রতি একটু শ্রদ্ধাশীল হলে ভালাে লাগবে । আমরা কিন্তু আপনাদের জীবনের সংগ্রামগুলাে ছােট করতে চাই না । আমাদের আগের প্রজন্মের অনেকেই মুক্তিযুদ্ধ দেখেছেন । সীমাহীন দুঃখ - দুর্দশা দেখেছেন । তাই আমাদের কষ্টগুলাে তাদের কাছে ছােট মনে হওয়ারই । কথা । কিন্তু ওই যে বললাম , সবার কষ্ট সহ্য করার ক্ষমতাও অন্যের । থেকে আলাদা । বলবে ? #Loke ki Bolbe? সবই টাকা কমানাের ধান্ধা ‘ গুগল আপনার ইনফরমেশন বেইচা কত টাকা কামায় জানেন ? আপনি তাে ফ্রি মনে করসেন , কিন্তু আপনারে তাে বেইচা খাইতেসে । অনলাইনে পড়াশােনা , না ফাইজলামি । খালি টাকা কামানাের ধান্ধা । দেখেন না কার লােগাে লাগায়া ঘুরতেসে বেহায়ার মতাে ? আমরা ব্যবসা জিনিসটা পছন্দ করি না । দান পছন্দ করি । ফ্রি লাঞ্চ পছন্দ করি । যখনই কেউ কোনাে একটা চমৎকার কাজ করার পাশাপাশি টাকা বানানাের একটা পথ বের করে ফেলে , তখনই সে খারাপ লােক । একটু ভেঙে বলি । ধরুন , আপনি জানতে পারলেন একটা লােক প্রতিদিন ১০০ মানুষকে খাওয়ায় । আপনি লােকটার প্রশংসায় পঞ্চমুখ হবেন । আবার যদি জানতে পারেন যে এই কাজ করার মাধ্যমে সে দিনে ১০ হাজার টাকা আয় করে । হঠাৎ আপনার মনে হবে , ‘ ও , এই তাহলে ব্যাপার । ওই সব দানটান কিছু না , সবই ব্যবসা । যদিও সে কিন্তু এখনাে ১০০ লােককে খাওয়াচ্ছে । এই চিন্তাটা কিছুটা প্রতিষ্ঠানবিরােধী চিন্তা , কিছুটা হিংসা ও বেশ বড় অংশে ছােটলােকির কারণে হয় । ভালাে কিছুর জন্য টাকা খরচ করতে ভাল্লাগে না । ইশ , ফ্রি হলে কী মজা হতাে , এ রকম মনে হয় । আবার এক লােক বসে বসে টাকা কামাচ্ছে এটাও ভালাে লাগে না । প্রথমত , একটু খোঁজ নিয়ে দেখুন , ওই লােকটা বসে বসে কামাচ্ছে । এই দেশের প্রত্যেক উদ্যোক্তাই তার ব্যবসাকে দাঁড় করানাের জন্য অনেক কষ্ট করেন । #Loke ki Bolbe?
