Dedicating a time or day in your week to do nothing is actually one of the most productive things you can do. When you give yourself a no-obligation zone, you give your mind space for ideas to flow IN; Space for Imagination, Visualization and Passion.

Are you sometimes lacking motivation to build your business because you're already happy with where you are? In this episode I speak with fellow entrepreneur Tobias Fritz about where we find our motivation when it isn't about creating financial freedom or location independence.

What you do when you're faced with adversity is a habit. Did you ever think of it that way? Most of us resort to 'comfort' activity when we're stressed, unmotivated, or upset - we'll eat, binge on Netflix, sulk, be antisocial, and even push others away. 

But what if your default reaction, your habit, was always a WIN situation no matter how crappy the day? 

I invite you to think and reflect about what your default is right now. Do you win every time? or is it a short term gratification that turns into self-criticizing shortly after? Let's change that.

Do you have a theme for your goals? If not, I think you should. It will help you be flexible with yourself over the next year, let your goals evolve as you do. So long as you have a theme for what you want to achieve, there's no looking back on failures and set backs, only growth.

Why wouldn't' I start the new year with the most energetic friend I met in 2022?! This episode celebrates relationship building, social media, and a bit of personal trait reflection too. 

Dan got me to step back and analyze myself as a third person - What qualities do I believe people see in me? and How do I deal with unfavourable relationships?

I learned this week that $M mindset people don't wait until January to set goals. In fact they don't even set goals ONCE a year. They set goals DAILY, even hourly!

There's definitely 'get rich quick' routes to entrepreneurship out there,  but some would say you'd miss out on the essence of entrepreneurship; The ups and downs, pivoting, learning about yourself in ways you wouldn't have imagined...

But I say there is a 'get successful quick' route to entrepreneurship, and that is by learning from those who have been there - done that.  They've taken the lessons you can now avoid, OR experience better.

If you're still in the early stages, trying to figure out what you want to do in life, these lessons are needed! 

Where are you in life? Are you being or listening and following? 

As travellers and nomads we're often asked 'So.. what do you do?'   But why do we have to say that we are 'something' in order to feel like we play a role in society or have some purpose / sense of value?
