We all know what it feels like to set a big goal… only to watch life unravel in a completely different direction. For me, this past quarter wasn’t about business growth or productivity at all—it was about learning love, respect, and what it really means to live with peace.
Instead of crushing my 90-day business goals, I found myself creating a prayer closet, facing tension in my relationship, and learning firsthand what Philippians 4:9 promises: “Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.”
In this episode, I’m sharing not just my story, but the simple practices that can help you stop pushing for control and start living with peace—right in the middle of your real life. Because peace doesn’t come from forcing outcomes. It comes from releasing control and making space for God to work.

What happens when counseling — something meant to bring healing — actually makes your relationship feel more fragile?
In this episode, I share my story of what it was like when my boyfriend went to counseling on his own and came back more distant. I’ll be honest: I felt powerless, angry, and confused. How could someone he’d only met for a few hours have so much influence over the future of our relationship?
We’ll unpack this heavy topic through two powerful lenses: Dr. Aaron Beck’s insights on how our thoughts shape our feelings and actions (CBT), and Dr. John Gottman’s research on how fear and defensiveness play out in relationships. And then I’ll give you something super practical: a concrete script you can use when you feel defensive, powerless, or unsure what to say.
If you’ve ever wrestled with fear that counseling might be pulling you apart instead of drawing you closer, this episode will remind you of God’s truth, give you tools for calm connection, and bring hope that what feels like a setback can actually become the setup for deeper trust.

We’ve all been there: one small moment in a relationship sets you off, and suddenly you’re in an emotional spiral wondering, “How did we end up here?”
In this Love Story episode, I’m sharing a real-life example of getting triggered, how it led me straight into the trap of my own thoughts, and what I’ve learned since about navigating those moments differently.
You’ll see how the Bible story of Peter sinking in the storm mirrors the way our triggers work, and I’ll give you two simple tools that can help you catch yourself sooner and choose a healthier response.
This conversation is for anyone who’s ever felt misunderstood, overreacted to something small, or wished they could hit “redo” after a tough moment in love.
The good news? Triggers don’t have to trap you. You can drop the thought before it drags you under.

Have you ever asked God to bless you… and then wondered how to handle the growth when it actually came? That’s where I found myself after praying the Prayer of Jabez: “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory.”
In this episode, I open up about what happened when God answered that prayer — the increase in clients, the bigger opportunities, and the real tension of feeling spiritually stretched. More importantly, I share the lessons He taught me about balance, priorities, and His timing.

The prayer of Jabez in 1 Chronicles 4:10 might seem simple at first glance, but it carries a powerful invitation—to ask boldly, live faithfully, and trust God with the details. In this episode, I break down the four key parts of the prayer and share how they’ve shaped my own walk with God, especially during a challenging season in a relationship. Instead of clinging to my own plans, I’ve learned to lean on His will and presence, and it’s completely shifted my priorities and mindset. We’ll talk about what it means to seek His guidance in everyday decisions, live with open hands, and pray with courage—even when the outcome is uncertain.

When someone you love says, “I can’t fully give you what you’re asking for,” it can hit hard. In that moment, it’s easy to feel disappointed, frustrated, or even rejected. But what if it’s also an invitation—to pause, re-evaluate your request, and ask God if what you’re seeking is reasonable, healthy, and honoring to Him? In this episode, I share practical ways to examine your expectations, shift your perspective, and respond as a godly girlfriend or wife in the making. We’ll also draw from Bruce Wilkinson’s insight in The Prayer of Jabez to see why asking God for the right things—at the right time—changes everything.

What do you do when someone you love says they feel trapped… and the only way they can find peace is to walk away? Whether it’s your husband, your boyfriend, or your grown son… it’s heartbreaking.
You’re left wondering: Was it me? Did I push too hard? Was I too much—or maybe not enough?
It’s easy to take his silence personally…
But emotional disconnection can wear many disguises. When we recognize it for what it is, we can stop blaming ourselves and start leaning into God’s truth instead.
When he says, “I feel trapped,” it may not be about you at all—it could be emotional overwhelm, old wounds, or unspoken fears. Let’s invite God to give us clarity, so we don’t confuse someone else’s struggle with our identity.
In this episode, I’ll help you respond with calm instead of panic, stay rooted in peace even when the relationship feels uncertain, and trust God to carry you both through this season.
